A 2012 model can be had for 150K. By the end of the year when the face lift comes out, It'll drop a lot more.
This is one of my favourite reviews

Every test? Put 5 adults and luggage in the GT-R and see how you go.......They are both completely irrelevant to each other.
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
Exactly its the equivalent to comparing an E63 with a GT2RS Porsche totally different cars who cares how they compare.

Doesn't matter, they will get compared to each other regardless. Just like the AMG A45 and GTS.
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
what about a comparo between a GTS and new ZL! camaro should be much the same ? except for the price
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
The R35 is different animal altogether, A heap of Hi end euro cant keep up.Do we really expect a rear wheel drive car to keep up.Surely not Nissan concentrated in delivering a full performance car & nothing short.Car of the decade.
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
The GTS would want to be quicker than a E63 or C63 to gain some respect.

The first time i have heard of such a thing is on this forum, it's a comparison well it's not even that and to even think it is, is just ridiculous.
Lets compare the GTS to the Veyron as well should we?

And your reasoning for this comment is ?
A new C63 is $170k and E63 $250k......isnt the GTS $92,990 ??

Why? It's half the price of an E63 and about $70,000 short of the C63!

Both are RWD.
Price is irrelevant

LOL that is a ridiculous comment, how is price irrelevant? So is a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Porsche 911 or a Lamborghini LP 550-2.......... Apples with Apples, if your paying $100k more a Kg for your apples well i'd hope they taste a helluva lot better than mine.
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
It's not a ridiculous comment, and price is irrelevant.
The GTS make a claimed 430kw and i think 740nm weigh's what 1800kg.
C63 makes 336kw , 600nm and weigh's 1720kg.
All i'm saying there's a huge power advantage to the GTS.
Don't know where your going with your apples way off the topic

Given that the ZR1 is faster than the R35 and has RWD and proper manual transmission, I don't think that is an accurate statement.
Here's the ZL1 vs GT-R comparison I was talking about earlier http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-revi...n-gt-r-premium
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
thats one thing i love for some reason everyone forgets about the performance of the ZR1, as it beat both the GTR and the porsche around the the nurbugring but never really seemed to get credited for it! Also beats the GTR in nearly every other way, cant wait to see what the next ZR1 will do considering what the specs are for the standard vette!
Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 2
How much are the ZR1 Corvettes in Australia say compared to the price of the Nissan and the Euro’s?

Then why not compare the new GTS with the performance of the new A45 AMG.
The A45 is cheaper and has way less power than the GTS.
