The blue looks pretty good in the sun. Can you share a few more details on the 3M wrap thing ? Is it mostly to avoid stone chips ? Will the paint protection go over the top of it ? Thanks

The blue would be my pick also, it looks really good... also loving the std rims look much better than the SV wheels. Enjoy :)
Oh the humanity ........... but it's good to know you're safe ;)

effectively an invisible "wrap" specifically cut the the shape of the front of the car, plus about 1/3 of the way up the bonnet, + the inside of the door handles (they get really scratched after time), and yes the paint protection is then done over the top... I didn't want one of the traditional car bra's as they are a pain in the ar$e and tend to scratch the car anyway
Main aim is to protect against stone chips and other scratches etc
Hopefully this will be worth the money, its so good when I 1st walked up to the car I didnt think he had started on it and it was going to be there another day
I didn't think the blue would look that good with the yellow calipers and badges but I think you have made an excellent choice , I like the sound of the 3M stuff might have to look into that
Thanks, colour choice had me worried for a while, but VERY happy now
Great colour choice, looks mint that colour combo!
and looking at all the other pics of GTS's i have never noticed how severe the lines on the front bar are, until seeing it in the blue, looks tuff!
Enjoy!
Just a quick question about the 3m clear bra, why only go up half the bonnet wont this eventually lift and have grime build up along the edge of the wrap? Was doing research about this product a little while ago and watched a video done by one place and they wrap the whole bonnet and its cut off underneath so that there are no visible edges.
looks awesome, love the colour and the last pic. just watch out for Canberra region drivers. I spent the day in syd in traffic and drove back to Canberra this arvo. as soon as I left the Lake George part of the Federal Highway, I seemed to come across so many crappy drivers, most of whom either cut me off or tailgated me :flip3:
^^ Maccas
yeah good point
honestly, this was the only place locally I could find that did what I was looking for, apparently it wont lift & I have been told (so who knows) that if it gets grime it basically a wipe away
But having said that I am a pioneer on this, so I will report back in 12 months or so... based on most my experiences or "anyone" doing "anything".... most are crap... with the exception of Marcus & Kit at Gentech (free advertising right there)...
I do have a 5 year warranty... just have to read the fine print
Took it for a quick squirt this arvo.... done a full 100km now :driving:
is 40 litres per 100km a good average :stick::stick:
only one complaint if you can call it that.... I seem to have to keep adjusting the seat forward........................................... ................................ because I keep getting pushed back in it and struggle to get my left foot to the foot "rest" on the left.... no jokes... struggling to find a good seat position.... I reckon when I hit Wakefield I will just bring the seat forward about an inch and wait & see what happens
ps the Torque Vectoring works :up2sum::up2sum:
Sounds promising so far then - keen to check this thing out :)
lol at Canberra drivers - I think I have almost been wiped out more times in my bright yellow HSV than I did when I had my black one, a sign its getting worst?
Yeah I just about got cleaned up in my 4x4 day b4 I traded it, when it rained a bit on Wed....bloke in front of me did a 180 going around a roundabout and started driving back towards me... Cause he didn't think to keep the foot on the stop pedal..... Not bad:werd:
