Looking closely at the side of the BMW it seemed to launch right off it.
Any news if it was it a prospective buyer or Waston's themselves who pulled the swift move?

This accident does make for a interesting question, are we insured by the dealer on test drives or will the person have to fork out the cash?
What the...? In the first couple of photos it looked like the Clubby slipped off a ramp until you see the rest of the photos with the BMW damage, fence included. How fast was that thing going?
Unrelated, but did anyone in Brisbane see the accident on Ann St yesterday around 3pm? 4WD completely took out a light pole at the northern end of Central station and was on its side with its guts facing the traffic and a sedan had its front end smashed in. Fire engines and the rest were there. It looked like either the sedan ran the red on Creek St or the 4WD was speeding (or went through a red) and it swerved to avoid a collision from the left side (Creek St), the sedan made contact, and the 4WD hit the light pole (Ann St) and flipped. I've seen a 180SX written off hitting a light pole and it left behind a dent... this 4WD completely uprooted and knocked out the pole. It looked pretty bad when I drove past. Hopefully nobody was seriously injured.
[QUOTE=CODES]...and some people whinge when they're not offered a test drive within seconds of kicking some tyres...Quote:

Doesn't it seem a little weird that a dealer would let a 19 year old (who as it turns out, couldn't drive for shit) take a car like that for a test drive.
What did he say................"Excuse me, I've been doing a LOT of overtime at Maccas so I've decided to buy a Clubsport instead of a Gemini!"
I just hope the 19yo complained at the conclusion of the test drive that the drivers door was very hard to open, and that the general panel fit and paint finish of the car was substandard....... ;) ;)
"A test drive you say? Certainly Sir! Just need to see your license...... OK, name is Kineval, Mr Evil Kineval. OK then low long a test drive are we talking? About 200 feet you say?"
Ya wouldn't want 'em. In one of the photos it looks like there's a chunk missing from the front left.Quote:

Lucky it was on a Sunday rather than today (Monday) ...... on a Monday at 3pm that area would be packed with pedestrians :eek:Quote:

Definitely. I was driving past just as the fire engines arrived thinking maybe there was a fire at the train station or something and then as I got closer I saw the 4wd on its side, a smashed up sedan, and a sleeping light pole. Must have made one heck of a bang.Quote:
