Hope they dont forget the poor Maloo will need another business write off soon

Everybody has a variety of "experience". Many people have vastly more experience in aftermarket modification land than myself, whereas I have vast experience on "this side". Too much that gets posted on here is based on personal opinion, urban myths, and no idea of just what is involved on the manufactures side of the fence to get a new car launched. I try to explain it to benefit peoples knowledge, yet often get shot down by people that don't agree with me. Sometimes I simply prickle people's ego's.
Sorry but I don't make time for people that constantly snipe at me on this forum. I have no problem with people requesting that we all agree to disagree from time to time, as robust discussion can be enlightening to all, including for the benefit of my own knowledge...but cheap shots aren't, and there have been way too many to count in this thread alone.

Without pushing the limits, and having high expectations, we would never have had products like the E series HSV or the W.
Who would have believed that we would have a sc, forged etc motor in a factory showroom car (FPV).
It was the high expectations that the market placed on FPV that made it happen.
When you see what HSV has in store for the VF you will appreciate what such high, and unrealistic, expectations can lead to.
If we never had these or never pushed the manufacturers through various mode of media etc, then we would not have had such advances.
High expectations- yes.
Unrealistic- no.
A company MUST make money to remain in business, or people will have no HSV to complain about. Would that make many of these people somehow "happy"???

Cheap shots? Challenging a perception or two and occasionally getting frustrated with, in my opinion, silly remarks from an intelligent and knowledgable person is the way I see it.
You have been guilty of some indiscretions yourself.
I have not intended to take cheap shots, and if I have or my comments have been misconstrued then I genuinely apologise.
I also apologise for autocorrect.
Re: Supercharged HSV this year?....I say yes.
Forums can be good. They can also be quite sh!t. Full of man-b!tches.
I think we've seen both forum types in this thread at times. The subject of W427 has so much bullsh!t attached to it that maybe, just maybe, to many people, it would have somehow been better off not ever being released. Then, people couldn't sook about it's high cost and how it didn't "beat" some other option out there or whatever other stuff appeals to the kiddies.
I see it as having given potential customers one more option in that price bracket. Maybe that's just me...but no one held a gun to anyone's head and made them buy one.
Night chappies. Time to catch up on some post Easter sleep. :)

Honestly peeps wtf is going on in this forum
Egotistical cashed up dickwads think they can continually belittle people and its fine because it is the internet
Everyone is allowed the freedom of speech, but the recourse here is unbelievable, and respect is forgotten
It is no wonder that the traffic is slow nowdays, compared to three or four years ago - people have had a f@cking gut full of self imposed knob stranglers shooting their mouths off with zero respect becsause the is no personal contact involved with discussions
The info shared now is almost non existant compared to a few years ago, and or you get flayed alive for asking a "dumb, over asked question" with having first used the :"search" button
Some of the contributors here have vast knowledge of how the big wheel turns, and others have their hands on their dicks and think they know all.
If the blue screen is to be here for the long haul, I think people have to take a step back and remember that we all have a common interest and stick together
Flame me, hate me, but it is my 2 c worth but I have gradually seen this coming to a head
Re: Supercharged HSV this year?....I say yes.
I totally agree this is post of the year so far really sums up where this forum is heading I visit nearly everyday but just skim through most of the posts have lost a lot of interest because of the increasing personal attacks.

Holden havent made anything new for six years, nor has the Holden aftermarket. Putting a different coloured cover on a blower doesnt make it new....as per the buyers interest in the cars drops away, so will the forum gradually die out to a hand full of enthusiasts, and at this point it will be more of an information base again. The forum was at its best when there was innovation to dicuss, which died out for these cars some time ago in the aftermarket. This is a natural lifecycle for a forum based on a vehicle with slowing sales/out of production such as has happened to LS1GTO.com

Thanks Michael.....What d'ya reckon Dave?.....I reckon it'd work like this....As the "Product Director", I could do all the driving & demoing etc, & you could make sure everything's properly organized/costed etc (it'd have to be this way because I'm computer useless)...just like Harvey did for Brock?!!!......and of course we'd both have S/C company vehicles.
Regards, Martin.
Re: Supercharged HSV this year?....I say yes.
There is plenty of info in here. And you will find no personal attacks until a certain person joins the thread.
Those with the info and knowledge don't come here often any more. Some don't come at all. It is no Farkin wonder why.

Off topic, but how does it explain the ongoing popularity of Skylines Australia then? The newest models are very much a niche thing and arguably unrelated to the 1986-2002 models that are the majority of the site users. This place does lack a community vibe though.
Re: Supercharged HSV this year?....I say yes.
simple answer yes.davo you sound like you are jealous of people like us who have the money to be able to buy c63s and soforth.i could have bought a w427 but chose not to as it did not appeal to me.you jump onto threads and these threads go to shit.you should be banned from this site for good with the crap that drivels from your mouth.back to the subject again i will buy the new model when it comes out in a limited number thats for sure.it will have to be priced 95k - 110k to be able to work for hsv is my thought.
