Yep.... But I am saving up :)

You might, I don’t.
These types of rims are not off the shelf, they are made to order and cost between 8,000 and 12,000 dollars for a set of 4.
When spending that kind of money another 4 or 5,000 dollars doesn’t matter.
I’m also not hiding the fact it is for looks.
Contrary to popular belief, all of these cars fall over after a few laps around the track unless you start spending serious money on mods to make them proper track weapons.
And any acceleration I may lose on the street due to the width and profile of the tyres will be made up for in the decrease of the unsprung weight achieved from the lightness of high end good quality forged rims and not the pretenders often used by the manufacturers.
Anyway, I don’t hammer my cars on the street so if you or anyone else blows past me I won’t be worried.
There is also a big selection of 285 and 295's available these days if you are prepared to spend the money.
Seriously I'm on here to say what I would like to do to the GTS, others will love to keep theirs stock and good on them that's their choice.
Mine will be to modify it and I'll do it to my taste regardless of what anyone else thinks.
I hope some others who own these cars will start to show theirs off, there are a few getting around now and not all of them have been kept standard.

Whats more interesting the camera keeps panning off into the sky...
PS, whats the green light on the dash that comes and goes?
That is the lane change warning
To be fair there's an equal number of shots where they're filming the ground next to the car, so I guess it balances out the sky shots  Their article and photos are ok, but their video work is quite shite tbh - if they want to be taken as serious motoring journos they need a better videographer and should film on something better than what looks like a phone camera.
Also makes me cringe when EVERY car they review has a video of them starting then engine and immediately revving the living shit out of it.
Here's hoping Top Gear UK have a play around in one.
I switched the lane change warining off the first day I had mine. Not too bad if you are on the highway but around town it is too sensitive if you are keeping left. My son mentioned the supercharger whistle as I accelerated away the other day. You can't (well I can't) hear that from inside. And just for something different I had a play with photoshop...

Because HRE/ADV.1 Tax :)
thank christ I didn't pay anywhere near retail for mine.
Im looking at probably 6k for Forgelines and then I have to spend around 750 a tyre for a Michelin pilot sports or some similar tyre. So that brings the price to 9k all up.
Or keep the standard rims and put some pretty sticky Dunlop tyres like these on it. http://www.stuckey.com.au/tyres_deta...yreName=DZSPZ2
Advantage of Forgeline is lower unsprung weight and looks (but who cares if its for performance only) and you would normally go for 20inch rims but better tyre selection if staying with 19s but then if you spent all the money on Forgelines seems a waste to stay on 19s
Ill keep standard rims if I can fit the brakes I want under them if not then ill have to go with Forgeline.
That's the old tyre I believe mate. DZ03 is the current one and I only spoke to Russell about Semi's a couple of weeks ago.
FWIW I ended up with the NITTO NT01 semi slick. It's less than half the price and reviews well
So what to look forward to now. Have we seen all the comparisons and test reviews.
What Is next to look forward to.
