. . . and on monday the 6th of Feb . . . that and about 900 other Brand New HSV's built over the last 5 months will be another $5k cheaper again . . . and on top of that there will be "Demo's" with less than 500 k's on the ODO cheaper again.
. . . as for march and april. . . lets just see!!!

$62,500 DA in Auto for an R8 is the going rate at the moment and you could probably squeeze dealerships more. So much for brand exclusivity, HSV are just trying to churn them out. I guess the thinking at HSV at the moment is they would rather sell more at a lesser margin without caring about the potential long term damage (and possibly irreversable) in doing so. But hey, come 10 years time I guess there won't be a shortage of spare parts for HSV's. Management don't make decisions that will affect a business 10 years down the track because simply put, the chance of a manager or decision maker still being in that position or at the same company in 10 years time is low. So who cares if in the future the company turns to shit, the people responsible for making that happen won't be affected. They will be long gone.
For an exclusive car manufacturer that is supplying low volume to a niche market, I don't think this is the right way to head! They're selling $70,000 vehicles, not $500 ipads.
Surely if there are dealers out there still carrying brand new HSV's that are plated '10 and trying to sell them in '12, this must be saying something about the supply versus demand of the brand. It does to me, but obviously not to HSV...

. . . and of those half you refer too . . . ,. a fair percentage may well aspire to own a HSV . . . and HSV aspirants were always a John Crennan target . . . he wanted to convert them to the brand . . . either via a pre owned or a new HSV . . . he wanted them in the family. . . .
A remotely inrellegent person would look at this thread . . . weed out the shit . . . analyse the potential. . and make a judgement . . . whether that judgement is worthy of any due dilligence is then up for their debate . . . .but there is enough passion in "many" of the 500 posts on here to consider the picture!!!!
But your right in this respect . . . there probably isnt anyone at HSV that will really care about this thread . . . .

As if HSV would ever give a rats what a bunch of tossers on an Internet forum think. Why should they?
The most sensible & accurate post on this thread, for a while.
If HSV really DID take notice of this stuff, ya'd have to be REALLY worried about their future "Health"!
Cheers, Pickles.
