Neither, it was a prototype version of the Alpha plaform used on the new Cadillac ATS which is a 4 cyl and the ATS-V will be a twin turbo 3.6L HFV6, much like the TT36 Torana.

i remember reading that the Alpha platform Cadillac is using is a detroit evolution of the cut down Zeta that Holden designed for the Torana concept not sure right that is.
How much improvement could be made by just using a better drivetrain ?
(rather than shoving in an even more powerful engine....again)
Motor mentions the VF being released next year. Assume that means Sept / Oct. How sure is this? Seems to me the magazines have been heralding the VF since 1945!
Traditionally Holden introduces the new engine combo on the last run of the current model. If this is true then there might be a VE Series III with whatever engine they plan to run in the VF
ahaha, yeah that way they can iron all there shiit out before the VF release :lmao:
just like the million dollar baby..... pfffft
they were looking into either a supercharged or a turbo set up with the vf range
