Yep thats all you have to do, I have the full cat back WP system (since Jan 08) and have always had the same problem with the outside part of the tip being cleaner then the other. Once a month i use some mothers on them and it brings them back to new...(inside and out):)

In today's day an age, don't you think this is :spew:
When have you ever come across faux exhaust tips on another manufactures car? Especially a performance marque - NEVER!!!
Even the ricer boys have more dignity than that. I reckon that was a silly design by HM Exhausts/WP.

/WP.
I can think of one actually.
The IS-F which has four exhausts, however the top two are for show only.

They work and have flow but not as much as the inside outlets. Refer post #17 of this thread, like standard they don't quite line up propley. If i had of known this before i got the system i would have thought twice about it..
Re: Where to get walkinshaw HSV E2 Exhaust tips.
Does anyone know if this is the case with the E2 mufflers? The rear bar cutouts/outlets are not in the same place as the E1 so things may be different. Who has one of the new Walky systems?
Re: Where to get walkinshaw HSV E2 Exhaust tips.
WP actually offers both the bi modal and standard set up for the E2 range. With the bi modal both outlets smoke, but with the standard set up I don't think so.

Only just came back to this thread, but it should be pretty obvious to most people that the previously mentioned "casual observer" might think that sh!t sounding exhaust with WP tips is a genuine WP system, and wont buy one because of that, or, they (WP) know you want the look they developed, but don't want to pay them for the rest of the system, costing them a decent profit.
Life works this way. It's really no different to how HSV operate. You want their look? You are meant to buy their car.
Learn to deal with it.
Re: Where to get walkinshaw HSV E2 Exhaust tips.
again, Davo, you miss the point on this one. All we are saying (or asking) is why cant we. WP dont have a problem selling me their look (headrests, bonnet, engine covers, mats, short shifter....must I go on). What is the big deal with the tips. We want them. WP has a market if they sold them. Maybe with the "Shit sounding exhaust" but I think that is clutching at straws.
I kind of accept you HSV annology but even that is kind of weak. I can buy most HSV parts

Current release uses both. Tips are integrated in the bumper and some tiny pea shooter pipes off the muffler aims the gas thru the tips

Sorry bonners, but you simply fail to comprehend the realities of the world sometimes.
Yes, people can often buy HSV genuine parts, but when not sold to genuine owners they are sold by dealers against the clear rules their franchise states, which can lead to them losing the franchise if HSV pursue them. HSV already gave dealers a big warning within the last year.
Translation even you should be able to understand is that the dealer is breaking the rules doing so. There's a BIG different between following the rules, and breaking the rules.
This clearly makes WP no different to HSV, as I said. :teach:
