disappointing that it has been reduced to an 1/8th mile event but what can you do? would like to see what my car would do over the 1/4 and if it would be as consistant as it is over the 1/8th mile. i am working the weekend this is scheduled so here's hoping the next might be extended to a 1/4 mile event!
for the knockers of the 1/8th mile, i say support what you have! be it at Tailem Bend, Whyalla or Coonawarra. if you don't go because the length has been reduced then you don't deserve a track full stop
To turn up and support cutting the track back from 400m last time out to 200m this time out is sending totally the wrong message for those that want 1/4 mile racing in this state. If its your cup of tea, then good for you - its not for everyone, and if 200m is the future then I am one of many that dont care whether we have a track at all :teach:Quote:

Just a reminder that this event is for road registrable vehicles (any vehicles with defects will not be allowed to run). It is aimed at vehicles that run above 7.7 (due to ANDRA requirements - licence etc). If you run a time below 7.7 you will be asked to adjust all other runs to be greater that 7.7"
