Hey rob!
I've had the Pedders XAs for around 1.5years now. For the past 8 months I have not touched the shock settings. I've left them on full soft the whole way round. There is a noticeable difference in comfort once you get past 15-20 (if 30 clicks is full hard).
I have noticed that my rear end bounces around through hard cornering if I have the shocks set above 15... I'm not sure why. If I leave it at 5 it doesn't bounce around so that setting almost never changes.
The front settings on the other hand seem to make a big difference to body roll and cornering ability. These are my recommendations for the following situations:
1. Daily cruising: Front 8-10, Rear 5
2. Spirited road driving: Front 20, Rear 5
3. Track: Front 30, Rear 10.
There is a loss in ride comfort the higher you go. But seeing its SOO easy to change the settings, have a play and you'll quickly find what you like the feel of!
Hope that helps.

Thanks mate that was just what I was after. I'm keen to know how you find that size stall too, it's somthing I'll be doing soon aswell.

No problem!
From what I've heard/read/been told, a 2800 stall doesn't feel all that different to stock. Basically just requires a tad more revs to get moving. I was toying with the idea of no stall, but it just wouldnt have resulted in the sound that I expect from a cammed V8. A 2800 stall is on the small side but allows you to go a moderate sized cam. I'll let you know what I think of it once it's all done anyway!
I'll be posting a whole bunch of pics tonight of the parts that have arrived!
Re: Damo's Series II Redline SSV (A6 Sedan)
slick car buddy, gotta love the redlines even if im impartial ;)
1 question, and I been out of the car modding game for ages, so correct me if I am way of the mark,
Isnt exhaust drone more noticable in poorly designed exhaust systems? and by that I mean, A good quality engineered exhaust wont drone? Is it only droning hard when its in 4cyl mode?

Haha yes. But I purchased the most expensive brand on the market and what is said to be the best exhaust for "drone free" driving... They even "guarantee it won't drone" It doesn't drone badly, but it does drone... The sound outside the drone range 1900-2000 rpm is amazing... This is all going to change with the cam, no idea for better or worse.
Some pictures of the stuff that I've bought:

I apologise for the grainy iPhone photos, but I didn't have a camera on me. I walked out of the gym and spotted a redline SSV ute with the black on black theme like mine! I couldn't resist taking a few photos! I wish I had my DSLR on me though... I tried cleaning up the pics on photoshop, but they still look shit. Anyway, gives you the idea.

I'm not sure what its at now, played with it so many times I've lost track... There's about 2.5cm of thread left in the coil over in the rear. I'll take some measurements for you and let you know.
NEWS: Car is booked in for Friday at NJC and I'll get back in a week or so... Can't wait!!!

I know! It's great having something fun to look forward to!
The 325 badge doesn't have much of a story, I thought it would be a good idea at the time haha. Technically the car has around 325 fly wheel kws as is... After the cam it will be more like rwkw... I put it on just out of curiosity as to how it would look, and due to how little it stands out (I don't think anyone really notices it in the flesh), I've left it there...
Re: Damo's Series II Redline SSV (A6 Sedan)
Parts list and pics are making me jealous, I'm keen to see how it turns out.
