Mate are you still running stock roller rockers?
Im building an LS1 engine atm ,and Im using the same CP pistons from QRI and the same comp cam 285 LSR. :wave:
yes mate stock rockers, the heads im looking at buying use the offset LS3 rockers.
The CP's are awesome you can hardly even hear them when the engine is cold

It was definetly loud :) I can't beleive they shut the pit lane off without letting everyone know to line up for a last run.. Will do a Calder mission next time with better tyres and 3.7 gears...Quote:

Just purchased a 3.73 gear set out of a maloo :) will hopefully have them in the car before the 17th of December Calder meeting and try and crack into the 10's. Hopefully the track will in good condition and well prepped. Any one else going to head up!!
mate how much did the gears set u back ,and any reason for not going to 3.9's.
Yeah mate because the car is my everyday commuter the 3.9's would have been a fraction high and the 3 speed transmission causes some problems with the engine rpm sitting a fraction high on the why.. Also if i plan to gas t
It up down the track the 3.7's will be better for that also. I bough the gears only 2nd for $220
A few small updates, I have just fitted a 3.91.1 ratio centre into car and it feels so much stronger at lower rpm, I havnt wound out too through the top end as I will leave that to the race track, hoping to have the car up too Calder in the next month or so with 90/10's fitted and some better race tires to see if I can crack that 10 second pass with standard heads..
