Some reflections are impossible to get out.
Some light flares add spice to a photo of a car, kind of like catch lights in a models eyes, they don't really belong there, but they look good... If you know what I mean
You get a bit of depth to the image, rather than having a flat photo.
Like the horizon line on a couple above, this makes it stand out and adds depth to the photo.
Awesome photos. They look superb! :bravo:
Looking forward to the studio photo shoot after the body mods :D

Nick & Kyle absoloutly awsome ! cant wait to see the other pics :),kyle can we discuss to take some pics of mine ? this will allow me to pull the covers of & blow some cob webs out of her :).I also agree some side by side shots of nicks & marks coupe,2 of the best in the country !
:)
regards sonny
The funny thing is that in that shot it's been photo-shopped so that it's sitting real low (the original photo was taken way back when it when it was basically stock) ... I think it now sits at least that low in real life !!!
Well ... the body isn't that flat ... but you know what I mean.
Had a chat with Sonny about a possible change to n/a today ... still haven't decided what I want to do. I will probably take longer than you to make up my mind Tone ... :stick:
Maybe a Harrop Blower would be the go ... anyone got a Coupe 4 with a Blower and a Stroker ??? I'd like to see how it goes ...
:D
:hmmm: ... I've been thinking, I'm just running the intercooler you supplied with the kit mate, back in the days when you thought single turbos where a good thing. Seems kinda funny that you would now want to pick on something you sold.
lolz0r
for prints..
nick i have used this studio for 10 years now on and off http://www.createdforlife.com/ it is owned by Ken Duncan and you get the same attention to detail and print quality as he applies to his own work, it is not cheap but the results are incredible.. anyone with a ken duncan photo could attest to that.
Yes a kit specified and designed for an aluminium block 346ci LS1 engine, which is not what you have now....is it? I figured the cooler would have been changed at some stage but noticed it hadnt in the shot, hence I suggested a beneficial upgrade for you :)
If you dont want to gain another 20kw or so for a $300 outlay for a bigger intercooler then its no skin off my nose, keep what you have
Holden used to supply these too back in the day.....the pricks

Simple comment - larger than stock turbo on Nicks kit, larger than stock engine, there would be a substantial gain in fitting the larger intercooler which is only a few hundred bucks. We havent supplied a turbocharger kit of any kind with a 450mm core like yours Nick since 2005, when testing revealed at higher than 8psi there was a pressure drop of up to 5psi across the core. Dont believe me, plug a gauge in either side and check
Take that any way you want it.....but this aint Area 51 mate, its just simple physics. Now back to the piccies, very pretty indeed :)
No offence meant ... just curious really.
To be honest I don't really give a toss what power it's making. It never runs at more than 7psi (except for the one drag day when we upped the boost), I hardly ever drive it, the engine is having the turbo for breakfast (Sonny has said it needs something like the Gen-T1000 since day one) and I honestly don't particularly like the look of the larger intercooler ... I guess I could paint it black.
The car makes more power than any sane human would ever use on the street, it will never see a track again, the turbo might not even stay on the car ... I don't know yet.
What you say makes perfect sense and if I was interested in Max Power (great name that ...) I'd stick a larger turbo on and a larger intercooler and car would run even faster, but I'm not going to wreck it with a cage and 10.9 on streets was all I wanted ... all done.
Enjoy Nick......you know what would be really good......M6 conversion
