As of now, i am stuck on ADSL1 coming from a rim, i wasnt fortunate enough to be on the Telstra Top Hat list before that got canned and to be honest, i'm not extremely hopeful that 24mb broadband is going to do a lot for me either (whenever that may happen). The rim i am on gets smashed daily from 4pm (school kids i would guess) and unless they upgrade the line back to the exchange, it will continue to get smashed.
Circumstances you're in are one of many things that the NBN was to fix, as you stated I'm also hoping they change their minds so we don't have to live with the consequences.Quote:

Oh i forgot to mention the cost of data for wireless is extreme compared to a fixed "hard wired" solution. It just cannot compete Gb for $.
