they are HBD rims of some sort
Hi nice car, I think the wheels come from a Vx xu6
Spot on mate. Thats what they are. By any chance do you know what SNR on the option is? Is that the sunroof? Also how do you know whether it has an lsd as apparently they were an option too. On the compliance plate it has as the axle GL4. There are other ways to find out:burnout: but im curious.:D
Most HBD codes listed here
All 2002 LS1s were LSD
More join "Team Tungstan!!"
nice shnoods.
now for the stally, 3.73's in the diff and a decent edit and your in the 12's :D
team tungston..........i like it:thumbsup:
jack up the rear end of the car, support it on stands with the hand brake off. get someone to hold one wheel, and try to turn the other one. If you can not turn it without the other moving it is lsd. if it spins freely it is a open diff.....
check the diff.....it will have a tag on it that says "use only lsd diff oil"
you could always put one foot on the brake and mash the accelorator......then look and see if it left 2 strips.............
edit - Only 3.73's???? 3.9's are only another 100rpm difference at 100k's. But with so much more pull :)
You guys already conned me into a barge, Lol now u want to make it fast?
:woot: I like the way you guys think!
well they do seem reasonably fast when you first get one.......
then after a few weeks, it starts to seem slower and slower then becomes normal.......
Or one of your mates gets a car that is slightly faster than yours (in my case a b4 liberty) and the race is on to one up them  (im winning at the moment :driving: )
my plans (as money allows) are mafless tune, 2800-3000 lockup stally, 3.9's...... then further down the track some cammage :woot: Oh and some 19" BBoss elenores too and stereoage
Hi all im new to the forum and i just got myself a 2000 statesman international. I was hoping if someone could tell me what suspention to get my barge out of the air and onto the ground :nyuk: also 20s will be fitted so do i need to change the front struts to fit them?
VooDoo i like the look of yours in the 'lowering gallery'(the setup that killed an exhaust). Any help would be apreciated thankyou :D
Wait 'til you jump into a WM 6.0 litre...you'd never know you were driving a barge until you turn to see the rear seats and realise how much effing room there is back there! This thing flies!
But you always think, if it goes this hard stock, what would an edit and zorst do? And then your back into the old routine of sourcing workshops, equipment etc.
haha, nice one ^
i can't wait till i get a edit. this auto just keeps pissing me off.
as for lowering i put some pedders super lows (same part no as low on a commodore) in a month a go and its sitting nicely now. didnt need to compress front springs to put them back on the shockies either
would like to go lower but it's just on the verge of practicallity now......still have to crab most speed bumps tho....
as for 20's, you will need to get some coil overs on the front. and the guards rolled.....
And whits with all these statos popping up in perth lately?????
the number of peeps on here with them seems to have trippled in the last few weeks haha
i need rims stat....... anyone want to lend me 3 grand
has anyone got pics of a WH statesman with 20" Elanors?
on BBoss' website there are picks of one
Crashed my stato thismorning coming back from a night out :bawl: :bawl:
bent up the bonnet, damaged the front bar, and holed the radiator and condensor :bawl: :bawl:
airbags didn't go off either for some reason.......
so now i don't get it back for like 3 weeks
Not a WH but the DTM Grange wheels and the BBoss Elanoars have the same look by all appearances:

Got my new plates on today aswell...guess what's in store for the engine bay...
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g1...st/shockTT.jpg
yea i have seen that car before, and man that looks hot, anyone know or seen those wheels on a WH as i am thinking of getting them for mine.
Mopar426 how u smash it and what statesman u got?
sorri to hear man, hope u get it back sooner
yeah im ok, bit of a sore back but thats all
absolutly spewing that i had a crash.....had to happen sometime tho....
only thing is my insurance premium is looking to go up $1200 to $3200 ARHHHHHHH!!!!
think ill be getting my parents to put it under there name now haha:thumbsup:
as i said before go to BBOSS' Website and look in the gallery, there is a wh there with 20" elenores on it.
I got a WH 2. Was coming up the hill on Loftus st at 6am towards the vincent st intersection. COuldnt see traffic lights or traffic stopped there untill i was over the crest and too late to stopp..........hit the other guy (vx ss) at around 40-50k's. was doing 60 (speed limit) up the hill.
Now along with the other damage that happened to my car the other week (wheel came of a trailer and hit my roof) im going to have 3/4 of the car resprayed :woot:
think ill get them to bog up the badge holes on the bonnet and boot when they repaint/replace them
had a look at BBoss website and found the statesman (WH) with them wheels on it and it looks hot. what you guys think will look better? them Elenors or VY GTS copies? reason why i ask is my mate wants to do a straight swap with my internationals for his VY GTS rims, (i know sounds to good to be true but thats wat my mate told me) but i am not sure if VY GTS rims will suite a WH statesman. anyone ever seen VY GTS rims on a wh before
The BBoss rims look way better than the VY GTS rims IMO. Only thing that comes close is maybe VE Senator rims.
yea thats true, but when ur given brand new VY GTS wheels for free then u might consider it. i am still trying to picture it on there. might jsut swap them and see how they look on the car.
Looking at the growing popularity of the Elanoars i'd be leaning towards the GTS rims. I supose it depends on how individual you want to be but judging by this forum and the gallery on the website there is an ever growing number of cars getting around with those wheels, not saying it isn't justified as they are a beautiful wheel and are a design that will be timeless. When choosing my rims i went a look that seems to be either loved or hated, but i am yet to see another caprice or commodore with the same rims, any car for that fact. They grab attention and you can see people on the street looking at them trying to decide whether to smile or think WTF??? But anyway not trying to talk up my wheels just reckon the GTS ones will look better, the Elanoars look a bit wagonwheelish on the WH for my liking.
well everyone has their own opinion and i understand where your coming from when u say uniqueness. i have a set of unique wheels on my VL that no one else has on theirs and the reason why no one has it is cause the offset is wrong for VL's but its all good, got the guards pumped and now everyone wonders how i can get them to fit hehehe.
but yea i am not sure if the VY GTS wheels (Copies) would suit it
What wheels u got
mine are 20 Verde Black Ice

That pic doesn't show em reall well as my photography skills are somewhat lacking, can be seen at http://www.tempetyres.com.au/product...t=&part_no=739
I have it booked in the new year to get the bottom of the car painted white, i reckon it will bring it up a treat and go with the wheels a lot better :woot:
mate those wheels are nice and unique, never seen them before. i say put some whitewalls on it and it will look hotter :)
but all in all nice car. i wanna put my one up soon but for some reason it says i need to post more then 10 times before i can attach links and pics
this is the error i been getting since day one and it is annoying me

Shes a Wh 2 Statesman, with gry leather. Pretty stock atm
Got a dual 2 1/2" sureflo exhaust on it with hpc coated Tri Y extractors.
Pedders superlow springs.
plans are for 3.9 diff gears in a few weeks, then a maffless tune and otrcai a few weeks after that as i come back from work on my weeks off.
Also plan for a set of 19" BBOSS Ellenores and a pimping stereo.
thinking about getting a stally to
Yep! Lol!
Great Ocean Road....13th Beach from memory.
Pouring rain!
Team Tungsten all the way!
Nice list of mods. Pretty much exactly what I've had done - pacies, twin 2.5", 3.7 gears, mafless, OTR, wheels, large stereo upgrade. Definitely go the stally, they really liven up the barge - or so I'm told, I get my 3000rpm fitted in a couple of weeks :yahoo:
Are you sure they're superlows on the rear? I expected the top of the tyre to be up inside the guard on supers - mine is at least an inch up under on stock GTS springs - but that's just probably because they sagged under the weight LOL:

Cheers
LT.
they were sold to me by pedders as superlows.....
part no is the same as low's on commodores the extra weight of the stato is supposed to make them superlow. Whether or not that was just some bullshit to get rid of some low's i don't know.
would love to go lower ;) but it only just makes it over the big speed bump at work...and i want to see how much clearance i have on my 19's (20's if i have money for coil overs haha) before i commit to new springs.
Still expecting them to sag a bit as they have only been in there a month.
Id say your right about yours just sagging haha
Either way yours is sitting nice and flat. Sure beats the stock 4wd ride height on the WH. The extra weight theory sounds reasonable to me. And mine is probably living proof :) I checked today and I think mine's sunk even lower...
Cheers
