Nice ute mate :goodjob:
A mate of mine just finished putting Koni adjustables and swaybars into his tonner, reckons it was the best $2500 he ever spent.

That ute no doubt looks awesome. But seriously that angle does absolutely nothing for it. See if you can get a couple more up, would be nice to see it from a diff angle. Should look tough as!!
Thats better. Looks like something the dark riders from lord of the rings would drive................ If they had 6L V8's instead of horses. Looks sweet
Looks good, I love black on black, I used to have vy ss 2 in black with black oz racing rims........
That Black SS looks sic with black on black.
I cant say im a big fan of the pink, but the gts wheels look awesome against the blue.
very sweet looking car mate. Drop it with some stupidly dark tints, debadged and a black number plate and it might get mistaken for a stealth bomber.

I'm pretty sure i saw your ride (i assume you were driving) today as you turned onto Pomeroy Rd off Canning up in the Perth Hills.
One sweet looking ride mate and it sounded pretty nice.
This thing sticks out a little :goodjob:

Hey guys just a quick question, i have just bought a VZ R8 maloo ute from melb and the ute has number plates ONEJET.
Has anyone seen or have any pics of this ute or know who the previous owner is???????
Well guys here is my first ever ute.
Holden 1997 VS II Ute, Colour Green/Mica, V6, 5 Speed Manual
Its nothing special yet :P but then again i am only 17 and such am not made of countless $$$. Any tips on what you guys reckon should be done and in what order would be great. I myself am interested in Lowering It(Any Tips?), Installing a Stereo(Loud and plenty of Bass, Tips?) and an Exhaust of some type(Sounds mean but doesn't brake the bank). If anyone has any more idea's of what can and should be done please speak up and as you can probably see with the above the cheaper the better :P and anything but the mags and tyres as their expensive :P.

Hope the pics work even though they are pretty average :P and i cant wait to drive it after insurance and rego etc is changed over.
Thanks
Matt
ebay is your friend if you are on a budget, also don't be afraid to do some things yourself. i had a look just then, you could source nearly all of your exhaust system for around a grand. $175 for your catback, $200 for a high flow cat, $450 for extractors, $100ish for freight, $200ish to get fitted. it is hard to make a v6 sound good but as long as its deepish, throaty and not too droney you'll be more than happy.
being an old ute your suspension will be pretty clapped out (unless it has been rebuilt lately). a set of superlow kingsprings are roughly $250 for starters and will set you at a nice practical height. good shocks will cost you $500 a set upwards, also you might be up for a grand just on bushes :eeeeek:.
i know you said mags are expensive but if you are vigilant you'll pick up a set of 18" holden mags (VY SS, VZ SS, VT GTS, CV8, CV8Z etc...) on the cheap. teamed up with a low ride your ute will look awesome in no time. hopefully i've steered you in the right direction or totally confused you lol.
Heres a few of my SSV with red interior SS mats and rear park assist.. Only have personalized plates and windows tinted so far..Tein coilovers next week..Would have been an exhaust too but have to pay for indy:yahoo:.. Absolutley loving the car still..Just done 3000kms, goes in for service next week..
