Reason being?
I'll take a guess. It is a perk for the validated members. Best I can come up with at short notice.
Possibly to cut down forum traffic? Most forum activity is probably via mobile devices and tapatalk now days.
I can access LS1 from tapatalk...

No different from the old days. There were certain perks for members that were Validated. Unfortunately apart from tapatalk there is no perks for the people that took the effort to get to know people.
Its not exactly hard to get validated either. Go out and meet two other members that will vouch for you and your done.
I think getting to have an avatar is a big enough perk :stick:
Sorry mate I can't agree. It's actually quite difficult depending on time available, number of members in your area, work hours etc. It would be really great if there were other ways to be validated such as helpful posts over a period of time (as one simple suggestion) etc.Quote:

This forum has been live since 2001/2002. Tapatalk has only been available for what the last 2 years? and I can tell you that there was alot more forum traffic before tapatalk then there is now.Quote:
