Fark me! That's crazy. Wish I knew when that little get together was on, would of went down for a look.
saw this on a trailer driving through town the other day and thought fark me that would be insane.....
I love how the lump at idle once in gear just spins the Tyres, some serious HP there. very nice!
Good one for a daily dirver in heavy traffic :lmao:....awesome
LOVE IT
A.w.e.s.o.m.e. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very streetable NOT but I would love to own it or something similar.
When was this taken?
I drive past auto perfection almost everyday!'
Very recently ;)
It's going to be turning tyres this weekend at springnats
That's rather cranky.....
Man that sounds angry alright. Me like.
another vid if anyone is interested.
Piss poor effort from the fire marshals, were they asleep or what?
CFA volunteers, obviously didn't give a rats...used to watching cars just burn.
sounds awesome, nice to hear a car that doesn't hunt on idle to the point that it almost stops.
That's from blower surge and from what fuel they run.
Whats the go with him on and off the throttle constantly, is there a reason for it?
What are some details on it?
On and Off the throttle is cool:eek:
That car is tough, a bit if WOT action is required to win us all over though i suspect?
KAL SPL - It's from low idle speed and over fuelling, a well tuned blown injected car will still hunt slightly once you put it in gear, but will idle at a constant rpm.
BEARWOOD - When let idle, a lot of injector hats freeze up which closes up the gap between the butterflies and the hat while still pouring the fuel in, and if you let it run long enough they will flood the engine to the point that the revs drop right off and stall. A quick stab of the throttle "clears it's throat" so to speak, but i think the guy in question here is more interesting in making some noise and a bit of a show haha.
But why would you :pQuote:
This is caused by a rich/lean cycle at idle. As the motor leans out the RPM's increase and richen up the motor, when the motor richens the RPM's decrease and the motor leans out again. This continual cycle is known as "blower surge". With proper tuning, some of this surging should be able to be eliminated.

ute is running 540 bb chev w/14/71 makes a lazy 1500rwhp makes 750rwhp at 1/4 throttle
just a question when say 14/71 I'm assuming you mean the blower came of a 14/71 Detroit diesel ? didn't think they made a 14 Cly ones 0nly 3/4/6/8/12 /16
or is that the part# for the blower
awesome idle
Your right theres Defiantly no such thing as a Detroit Diesel 14V71 Industrial / Marine / Construction Engine only 2,3,4,6,8,12 & 16 cylinder. I'm pretty sure a 14-71 Blower are an aftermarket thing.
thanks for the heads up now i know
cheers
