You would obviously know a lot more about Corvette's than me, but I've read a lot about the small block & how & why it's preferable to the big block etc, in many cars, not only the Corvette.
And what is said is probably true, but if I was going to own a Corvette of this vintage, I'd still want a big block,...if I could afford such!!
But it's not just Corvettes, ...Dodge Charger would have to be a 440, Mustang, I'd be looking for a 428 etc, and of course there are some where the 426 Hemi is an option but I haven't included this engine in view of the stratospheric prices such engined cars attract!!
And why do I prefer these big engined cars, I just think they're "special"!
I was reading just yesterday about a Yenko Camaro that had a 427 fitted, rated at 427HP, but in actual fact dynoed at well over 450HP,..I'd just love a car like that, and of course in the earlier Chevs, who can forget the legendary 409.
