    nope, I failed that component

I received a distinction in the truth and telling it like it is though. Both unpopular in today's society.

    tact  [takt] noun
    1. a keen sense of what to say or do to avoid giving offense; skill in dealing with difficult or delicate situations.
    2. a keen sense of what is appropriate, tasteful, or aesthetically pleasing; taste; discrimination.

Truth should be told, but its how its expressed. That is the true 'skill'

    Ill leave it at that

The lights on but no ones home huh?

Even the most amateur theif can put a brick through the window, this doesn't help the fact they still have the ignition barrel and mechanical steering lock which would still require attention, that means even IF the car was unlocked its not as if it was idling with the keys in the ignition ready to go......anyway im not much for fishing and your clearly baiting us from your keyboard so im not offering anymore input n the topic as your not really doing anything constructive, i think theres enough useless info online without me entertaining you and your brilliant theories on subjects your clearly not well educated in.

Yes I realise most punters want the truth sugar coated. I guess I could have gone with "How dare that guy steal a clearly unlocked car, he should be stoned to death". An eye for an eye and all those other pathetic human revenge emotions?

I wouldn't waste money on another club lock after my car got stolen...wait...I didn't have to....thieves left it sittin on the back seat still locked cause they just cut the steering wheel and pulled it out. If they want it bad enough they'll find a way past your custom security system too. GPS is good for locating if it's still in the car, but you'll probably find you'll end up on the side of the road...atleast you'll recover the GPS...

As for the comments back and forth, atleast you done the OP a favour and kept the thread near the top of the list so long...more people reading can hopefully mean more eyes looking out for the car.

Chev - Hope they atleast find the car for your son and if the theives have really been scumbags and trashed it then the insurance company will do their bit.

Most likely but hey, at least it won't get pinched so easily from a car park because I left it unlocked.
