you will be right-
When I get off my ass and jack the rear end up, I will take some. Should of taken my camera down when it was on the hoist. I can tell you the Harrop gear is a tight fit. Not alot of room after all that stuff goes in.
The old diff had a broken crown wheel and busted CV All this from a bolt on car. I did have problems with axle hop though...
you will be right-
hi mate, who did your turbo manifolds in qld?
cheers.
I actually bought them 2nd hand off a forum member from here. They where originally the ones I wanted and was prepared to pay the 2 + grand inlcuding HPC coating. If your chasing a set the bloke that makes them is Kyle from 6Boost.
The manifolds are absolutely magic looking. Some of the best I've seen. I bought the manifolds of Girch as they don't work with his new setup.
any pics mate?
Oh Im sort of putting together a bit of a post now with pictures and so forth. Just lacking time and motivation. Full time work and full time uni will do that. When it gets really exciting and the old motor comes out finally, I will do a bit of a cover of some of the stuff we are doing. When its finished I will supply CAD drawings to anyone who wants them so they can get stuff replicated if they want. Still it has to all work first and make the HP.
any updates into this beast??
I have a small drama with a piston... particularly its weight. So after being told not my problem from the supplier, I am trying to source a single piston from the states. If that doesn't work I will be ordering a new set of pistons by the end of the week.
Its not a great deal out but enough for me to want another piston. Its a bugger cause the pistons are custom order Ohwell I will have some spares if I dust a piston or two.
The ARP L19 rod bolts have turned up.
Ahh I'm waiting on a LSXR inlet manifold and T/B.
Still yet to order a clutch but, its down to either the Tex tripple or the Extreme Carbon.
So unfortunatly its a case of hurry up and wait.
Ok piston issue sorted.. I ordered a brand new set. If anyone wants some cheap forged pistons, with one a bit light PM me. They will be cheap.
Ordered and paid for a Tex Triple late last week. So one step closer.
Do you have any updates yet ??

Hey Troy, having a few slight "issues" with the final slotting together of the engine. I am a patient man, but have had delays from all areas. It will either be done shortly or I will be collecting my parts and heading elsewhere as much as I don't want to.
I'm hearing you there. Seems as thought the simple things , or what seems simple to me can cause issues . I guess on the engine side of things all is fine for my project , I had all my parts sitting in Sydney at Sam's awaiting me to go down & bolt it together . Had a phone conversation with Sam yesterday & he has bolted my bottom end together for me so this has been a bonus to say the least . I now have to get onto my pipework & get the turbo side of the engine finished & down to Sydney & fit it all to the engine then onto the dyno for some no BS figures .
