So just clear this up for me, you'r living on Rotto and the car now sits in a museum? Is this just an arrangement for a safe place to keep the car in Perth or you plan to let it sit there for a long time? I couldn't just buy a car like that and let it sit there, would drive me insane! Maybe one day I will have enough cash to be able to have a weekender of sorts but what I want for a weekender is getting seriously expensive, HG and HT monaros are getting ridiculous, if onl I had bought the one I looked at when I was 19! Congrats on the car mate but please tell me you plan to drive it lots and lots ha ha!
Car as a penis extension????? Best surgery i ever had ha ha!!!!
yes i live on an island called Rottnest about 20kms off perth
im sorta funny with my cars my friends know me for it..
i dont drive them much as the less i drive them sorta keeps them special..
to only dive them 3-4 times a year..gives me that buzz and to appreciate them more i guess...
i test my self in letting them sit as long as i can with out moving them...
i mite spend a day just cleaning to settle my need to drive it..
i told you im funny about my cars
so doing this they would be sheded and not seen....
and in my home town would be lucky to come out once a year...
so approaching the museum and they are happy to have them in
(normaly have cars there only for about 3-4 months at a time..but are happy to store them if not moved much..as mine only comes out for servicing..and the odd car shows/special events for a maxium of a week)
boths are aussie car history and both a part of it...(and very rare to be seen these days)
so told ya im a strange 1.....
smiles....
so yeah....i get to see them and so do others...
enthusiasts
arh good on ya mate thats great work hard get your dream car..
well done hope your enjoying it.
cool.......posted up my own photo....
a close up pf the front righthand side..
Just an update...the car is no longer on display
The W427 is no longer at Whiteman park, lost my display spot because the car has some service repairs carried out on it and was away (5 weeks) thus lost my display place.
To all the readers of this....if you ever visit Whiteman park and ask to see it or say that its a shame its not there, this lobbying may get it back on display or they may make space to have it there.
this lets the managemant of the museum know it draws people to the museum, i know some people think it shouldnt be there, only cos they dont know what the car is.
This interest mite enable to have the car booked in to have it on display, either for a set 3 to 4 months of the year or permitly on display..
mu·se·um (myōō-zē'əm)
n. A building, place, or institution devoted to the acquisition, conservation, study, exhibition, and educational interpretation of objects having scientific, historical, or artistic value.
Not convinced that a W427 meets that criteria.
Scientific value?
Historical value?
Artistic value?
