Looks like a Senator is going to be the go for this, anyone got pics of the new Senator?

I havnt read the hole thread but i can confirm that

GTS will have 325Kw all others stay the same
    All manuals have launch control
Driving lights are like the pic of the Red wagon
Pic of the rear of silver GTS is pretty much spot on
GTS does look better in real life, but to much for me, so i will look at the Sentor
There are now two stability control modes, normal and sports

Definitely not what they've done. HSV threw a tantrum when those spy shots found their way online... far from clever marketing.

I hope those pics aren't real. I would die if HSV actually released something that.
Start digging yourself a grave then because these pics are real.

Personally I think they look great.

Senator has been the pick of the bunch for years, especially in VE with identical mechanicals.. Nothing new there.

For Sale: MY09 Senator, Karma, 19k klm. Immaculate Condition. $62,000.00.

On Order: E2 Senator. Bi-model exhuast, premium brakes.

    lol.

Will definately consider the E2 if it is as good as i hear it will be. HSV have done a fantastic job with the E series (i have had two) and i have no doubt the E2 will be as good, if not better.

All things considered, you get a lot of vehicle for the money. I have been tempted to have an afair with a European of late but love my HSV's too much.

Exactly, Senator competes with the GTS in price but certainly not in sales

Audi have mastered th LED daytime running light look. If HSV's look as good as that, I'll be so happy.

Didn't mean it like that. I was trying to say it would be clever marketing by HSV, IF those SPY pics weren't real....creating the impression to go out and buy an E1 because the E2 looks bad. Then releasing a completely different E2 and causing a rush of sales.

I think the Senators have always been pick if the bunch, looks like this could be no different.

I guess it comes down to personal preferance like all things, but E1's looks does it for me still.

like psi 747 said it comes down to personal preferance, in the e1's i believe that the grange is the best out of the bunch from the ve range, it looks tuff yet classy at the same time. ok its costs more but dont u think its worth it, looks better but whats the performance difference between the senator and the grange?

Oops, forgot about the Grange...looks sweet as you said mate. Senators and Granges just look so classy but yet so tuff. I'm with you there mate.

I prefer the senator signature over the grange, especially when fitted with pentagon 20" rims. I'm probably in the minority, but I actually love the rear led light cluster on the back of the clubby, gts, and senators. I also like the fact the grange has xenon low beams, which in my opinion should be standard kit on all the hsv's

Saw a black senator signature slammed on 20" pentagons whilst in Melbourne on the weekend......just awesome, looked so good.
The other half has given me the nod to get 1 next year (E1) She wanted a say in what family car we get, she saw that and liked it as much as me!! cant wait!
