would almost be worth the drive down from Canberra, however this coincides with my better half's birthday so I don't think it will happen.
Australia's most successful V8 Supercar team, the Toll Holden Racing Team is throwing open its doors for the very first time.
HRT's invitation to go behind the scenes of its multi-V8 Supercar Championship and Bathurst winning racing operation is part of a mega Family Day to be held at its Clayton headquarters on Sunday, 20 September.
The first annual Toll Holden Racing Team Family Day will also give access to Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), Team Autobarn and the Bundaberg Red Racing V8 Supercar teams, which are also part of the Walkinshaw Racing stable.
"For HRT and V8 Supercar fans an open Family Day at our Clayton headquarters is like Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, except you won't need a gold ticket to come inside," V8 Supercar Champion and Bathurst winner Garth Tander said.
The day will be packed full of features and activities including sponsor exhibitions and interactive displays, Holden concept cars, a Holden and HSV vehicle show & shine, workshop and HSV tours, kids activities, competitions and driver interviews and autograph sessions with Garth Tander, Will Davison, Paul Dumbrell and David Reynolds.
The Toll Holden Racing Team Family Day will run from 10.00am to 3.00pm on Sunday, 20 September. Entry will be by gold coin donation with proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia to aid in men's prostate cancer awareness.
The Toll Holden Racing Team is located at 125 Rayhur Street, Clayton. We encourage patrons to utilise public transport to Westall Station as it is located directly across from the Family Day event.

Should be a great day, hope everyone can make it!
Is this also a going away party for TOLL as they are not going to sponsor HRT next year.
I'll be at this one for sure, the HSVOC is having a show and shine so a good opportunity to show the car and meet drivers ect, are you comming to this one macca? ...Brian?
Whats happening with the toll sponsorship??
Just wondered if any here will be going to this event. We will be taking our GTO with the HSV Owners Club, & have some friends coming from S.A. If the weather is good, it should be a good day.
Cheers, Pickles.
should be a pretty huge day down in Clayton, might go along for a look see!
According to HSV dude Simon FROST, there are around 10,000 people expected on the day. The weather will play a part I'd reckon.
I'm going to put the car into the HSVOC display, so I'll see you blokes there.
cheers

Hi guys, the first ever Toll Holden Racing Team Family Day is on THIS SUNDAY, hope we can see you all there.
Also on display will be the very first ever Holden factory race car, the Holden Dealer Team's GTS 350 Monaro from the 1969 Sandown Three Hour - Holden celebrated 40 years of official factory involvement in motorsport this week!!
Also, Efijy, Coupe 60 and a whole lot more.
Should be a great day with gold coin entry proceeds going to raise awareness to Prostate Cancer.
We're going...we'll be taking the GTO, & be involved with the HSVOC display, which at the moment, has about 50 cars entered. All that is required to make this a memorable event..... is a fine day.
Cheers, Pickles.
Forecast is looking good Pickles, 18deg and sunny
Two threads merged and I am definitely going to be there - should be a ripper day if the weather comes good.
