The mast heads flow a shitload of air the more lift you give them, but i did want to keep the overall lift under 650 due the cost of upgrading to .700 lift duals.
If the heads continue to flow past 0.624 lift why not increase lift up to 0.640 on inlet and 0.630 on exhaust. Reason for more lift on intake than exhaust it will help it come on boost quicker and harder.
    Lobe lift would equal
    Intake 0.3555 x 1.8 equals 0.640
    Exhaust 0.35 x 1.8 equals 0.630

    Re: 410ci L98 Boost Build

I've thought about the cam/head scenario over night and i've decided to save some money and just go with the medium bore heads without the 6 bolt clamping.
Flow wise, They are still really good anyway.
    Link

    There's a few reasons:
1 is the waiting time for custom cam
2 is price in the bigger heads and the more expensive ls7 rocker setup
3 is the issue with having to use a spacer flange for the pacemaker headers to fit up

So with that now decided, it's just waiting for parts to turn up.

Speaking of which, i picked up the Improved Racing sump baffle from the post office this morning and fitted it to the sump.

In regards to the heads why not look at a set of Trickflow Specialties 245 cc runner and has the 6 bolt arrangement get them as a bare head and fill it with god quality valves etc. They are a cathedral port head but their flow figures are quite good and they take a normal style rocker setup

any reason you didn't go for a cast iron block straight up considering the state of your original alloy one?

I dont need or require the 6 bolt heads. plus the blower has the square port L98/LS3 config.

The reason for using the alloy block is because i allready had it i.e it had done less than 10k km's, and i would still be limited to a .30 oversize piston anyway.

Sorry i Misread before I presumed turbo ignore previous post about cam in regards to lift. Thats fair. Yeah the 6l iron block while being stronger is still same limitations plus added weight.

    nice build up.
reminds me of when mine was in getting the 383ci stroker and HTV2300 bolted on after wards.

i also think you will crack more then just 400hp... mine on a run intune has just shy of 500hp!

Pretty sure the 400hp is taking the piss, that cam alone would push it way beyond that.
