Thanks guys. Just got a call from Justin at Russo who has been taking some pics to post up as well as the dyne run etc. Currently cam is in, litters are done and just waiting on head bolts as they needed to take the heads off to remove afm etc.

Should get blower on tonight and fired up tomorrow. Really pumped, still only has 1000km on the clock so she is brand new!!

Justin will post some updates when he has time...
Thanks Rat also, will be in touch.

Didn't you guys read the first post ???? It amazes me why people ask questions after the answer has been provided before hand

    A little update team...

The car got fired up late this arvo and Justin reckons it sounds pretty farken tough already. They were just about to put a base tune in when I rang and had done one quick run on the dyno with the standard airbox, no real tune and they only took it to about 4500 and it made over 500RWHP... It also only just made 7psi so it should have loads more to come...

Proper tune, proper boost and an OTR.

Cant wait for Saturday... 2 more sleeps, I will let you know how she goes when i know.

Looks to be amazing already at low rpm and low psi! What cam did you install? This is a L92/LS3 headed engine? Post more results as they come in

After getting my new Thunder I was sucked in by my own temptation to buy the Magnasun MP2300 kit from CAPA. I dropped the car off Saturday with the boys at Russo and am SO excited, Russo have always been outstanding to deal with for me and I know they will make this car special... My last VZ was a sensational car but I have never had a blown car before.
This ute is auto, got the kit and sprung for the bigger fuel system as well as smaller pulley. It also gets the cam treatment and to be honest I have no idea what they are going to put in, but I know its little.
Pick her up Saturday so I will post some pics, clips and stuff but for now I am driving my nans 20yo auto 626 for work.... Ooh the wait is already killing me! Any guess on power? The thought of having a potentially 600RWHP car is pretty nuts...

Plans for the ute up next (as in next weekend) will be slamming on 22's and it already has full stainless duel 3inch..

Oh and the best part, I just scored the plates BLQWN! Can you believe I got that?!!!

Sorry for the crazy excited rant, but I am pumped!
All the work your having done, all the extra power and torque and the best part you say is having pvt plates?

Re: My new Thunder getting BLOWN!

So I just got off the phone with the boys... The final figures were umm, awesome.

Finished off with a power figure of 442RWKW or 592HP in the old terms!!! I am so pumped, they said it just kept churning out great numbers and described the way it drives as "fkn strong" haha.

So happy, can't wait to get to Russo tomorrow and pick her up!!!

    Thanks guys!!!
