I'd love to take a ride in that, the low rpm torque must be crazy!

Re: My new Thunder getting BLOWN!

Sorry it’s taken me a little while to come back. Picked up the ute Saturday and sadly it was raining which made me quite apprehensive as you can imagine with all that horsepower. I have to say I am wrapped with the package, in fact I needn’t be worried at all as the power is SO smooth. It’s TOTALLY different to a turbo ute that I have been in. It literally pulled like a train from idle right through to redline. Driving to work it has amazing manners but enough power to stand on it hard in 3rd and fry the rears, but roll it on and it’s amazing.
The blower whine is pretty quiet but just right I reckon. From the moment I picked up the car from Russo I remembered exactly why I go there, they are just as passionate about the end result as I am. They did not let the car roll out the door until everything was perfect, they even made me a cutom OTR to help me out a bit and everything is amazing.
The car is so crisp, super strong and I am hugely impressed with the setup. Who would have though 441RWKW (Or 592HP) would be so nice to drive.
Who wants to post a pic up for me?
For the record I know some people jumped onto the topic of exhausts etc but I am super happy with it. It may be worth noting that the Russo ute makes 818RWHP and those cats are fine, they actually mentioned they have only had one cat fail which was a product error and it was replaced.
Anyway thanks for the interest, big wheels go on the week and the car is being dumped! Justin from Russo has promised to jump on and load up the build in pictures… It’s a crazy looking setup too, looks unreal!
