Really happy with it. Had the car 11 years and still puts a smile on my face.
It is essentially still my daily, although I don't need to use it for work as much as I used to. A lot more punch now, but really well mannered.

I could have got a bit more with a lumpier cam, but wanted to keep it nice to drive as a street car and still be able to take it away for family road trips for holiday without worrying about it overheating etc.

Yes, many people try to rubbish Soner, but I found he goes way beyond to fulfill your expectations.

First day of the Nats, and about 400 metres from the entrance the radiator split. Left me stranded on Northbourne Ave.

Shattered, but a good friend lent me a car, and we managed to get someone to install a new radiator while the family and I went to watch the burnouts.



Picked her up, and next thing it is overheating again. Found the thermo plan plug had melted. Looks like it has been shorting for some time.



Got it fixed, and was back on the road again.

Ordered some Kindig IT Customs - Exhaust Cutouts

Got the exhaust shop to install, and then my friends at Belrose Autos helped wire them up.

Have to be careful where you use them. They are obscene when you open them up.

You can open them in increments which is good.

Not everything has gone perfect, (rarely does), but he has always stood behind his work. The workshop is quite a distance from me, so not easy to just pop in.

Got rid of the Alpine head-unit, the Audio-processor, Roof Mount TV, DVD Stacker, steering wheel remote adapter etc.

So much wiring. Replaced with an Android unit, and tidied up a lot of the wiring at the same time.

Managed to get it running Microsoft Teams

Got the damage in the roof fixed, and the VE aerial removed by Quantum Auto Body.

Got a Sunroof and a new headlining installed by Autolux

Is there anyway to edit the existing posts to update the photos?.

Doing quite a bit with the car at the moment. Hope to get it out to some shows and cruises if this lockdown gets lifted.

The paint was starting to show it's age, and wanted to repair a bit of the damage accumulated over the years.
Got some NOS lights and foglights, and managed to replace a few of the body rubbers.
VZ R8 Guard Flutes, and guard aerial welded up.
Thanks to the team at Quantum Auto Bodies - Done an awesome job.
Replaced the tints on the windows as well, starting to fade.
Will post some more pics when it is finished.
