Have a little CLA45 AMG arriving in December. Maybe I'm two different types of market all in one person?! But then I have been accused of being a bit confused at times.

Awesome video. Assuming that GTS is completely stock and auto with no tune? Doubt I'll be as fast in the manual GTS. The CLA also might have an edge on the street vs the drag strip given it is AWD.

I'll consider a tune but not sure how far beyond that I would go. I don't like the idea of losing the bimodal exhaust functionality etc.
If that could be worked into mods somehow, then maybe.

It is not just about the times... I have an 11.5 sec torana hatch in the garage.. Would be nowhere near as nice as the GTS on a family trip for 4 to Sydney.

Looks like you can get away with modding the GTS and not losing the good bits that make it what it is.

Interested to hear the bimodal setup, wonder if it will still be controlled with the GTS's standard gear.

Probably not the right thread for that car. On the bright side, some parts about to enter the market. Who wanted the seats again, I'll take the wheels.

OK it is growing on me.

I ordered replacement plates, slimline front and normal sized rear. Basic white on black. Suits the car much better.

Looks like tomorrow has freed up somewhat so I might just go for a drive! And try to get some pictures in a different location.

I read through the owners manual the other night. Ignoring the stuff that is the same there is still quite a bit of reading.
