    Dickie's New Barge

    Evening All

Those of you that have been on the forum for awhile will know I have had a WH
    Dickie-Knee-s-Barge

Well the wife has told me the old barge has to go after 11 years of faithful service as the family truck, so I have found a worthy replacement.

    WM3 Grange

    GRANGE1.JPG

    WM3 Grange Build Number 0001
    52,000km
    Options include HSV LPI

At this stage this one is to stay stock

So that only leaves one question. What to do with a LS2 powered WH surplus to requirements

Looks great Dicky! Absolutely jealous of it. So the WH is still in the stable then?

Nice to see such a worthy replacement, Richard. I reckon you'll enjoy the benefits of the LPI as well. I was speaking to a gent at our local HSV show last year and he said one of his favourite cars was his E3 Clubby with LPI. Great car, great power and cheap to run. ...cough cough....OTR....cough....exhaust...cough cough....PowerTorque...

    Thanks all

Mick, The LPi needs some work the poor girl coughs and stalls when on LPG. I need to find a good LPG workshop.

The old green beast is still at home. I am unsure what to do with it. Money needs to be spent to get a roadworthy or I part the old girl out. The LS2 is worth too much to let her go too cheap.

Looks good, comes with the bonus as that the WN looks just the same anyway, so not outdated. Hope you have fun with it but I can't believe you wouldn't get a tune at least...

    Cheers, Matthew

I think you should carry on tradition and raid the HSV parts bin again, they have some pretty nice hardware in there now!
I think you would make the most money parting the WH out, or if you are just feeling generous I know someone who would love an LS2 and VZ Monaro wheels

The old Green one went from LS1 to LS2. If I was to try the same parts bin raiding with this one it would be LS3 to LSA.

Just watched those videos, Dickie. What did the ad say..."One owner, never been flogged"? At least you know that it can do what it says on the box

Glad someone else mentioned that, being a press car I'm sure it's had a good shakedown/run in

From my past experience with HSV press fleet. I know these things are driven hard, but when they get back to the office they are well looked after with any wear and tear items quickly repaired or replaced back to factory spec.

    Re: Dickie's New Barge

I was out in the car the other day and as I was driving passed government house I had an idea to take a photo of the Grange at the side gates

So I reversed in, snap and drove out.
