Shiny White Car
Nicely done Dickie! If you can avoid numpties running into it for a little bit we still have to sort out a photoshoot for you.

I still haven't fixed the gas. Between selling to caprice and having to make this one daily driver for awhile I have not had time to have it off the road.
I purchased a new corolla hatch for the wife so I have inherited her old car as a daily driver (2003 RAV4), so I will need to look at it again. I do want it fixed. It only requires a new LPG pump in the tank.

Gas is great when it is running well but can be a pita to sort little bugs out.
Can be very hard to find a mechanic who actually knows what he is doing & can diagnose the late model systems.
Plenty say "yeah I can look at it for you!" (& charge you plenty while they fumble around with it")
Will be interesting to see what sort of economy you get out of it,
I have read a couple of road tests on these & they sound like a very good system when they are running right
& you don't miss out on any performance either.
All the best with it mate, it's a gorgeous car!

nice looking barge.
good all round package, esp once you get the factory lpg working
With the price of LPG at the moment it's hardly worth fixing let alone fitting a new system.
We have been paying 72.9 cpl around here for ages for LPG.
As for the LPG. I have just been Lazy. I will have to get it fixed.

Nice one Richard
A grumpy old bugga who has been there and done that...
Good Evening All
Well, I finally got motivated and made some calls to find someone that knows something about HSV LPi (orbital gas systems). The grange has been raising eyebrows in a taxi workshop for the last week, but orbital gas systems were used on a lot of Brisbane cabs (falcons) around 2010-2013. I got the call today to say that the BBQ fuel is working and I can pick it up tomorrow to drive it on gas for the first time since I have owned it.
I will have to get her out on a test run mid next week.

It turns out it was one loose terminal in the LPI pump connector under the bonnet. 5 min fix once found after 3 1/2 hours of hunting. After an LPi ECU reflash and it's a goer.
