First Independent Dyno Numbers are in, that I have come across...

Quote from PCR Performance FB below...

"GSXR 2017 Dyno comparison with 2017 ZX10r & 2016 R1 all standard bikes as they arrive from the dealer , ran on my dyno with the same rear tyre to keep it a fair comparison.

    Red line is a 2016 R1
    Green line is a 2016 ZX10r
    Blue line a 2017 GSXR 1000

Looks like it may become a GSXR cup at race meetings across the country."

    Link...

Looking very promising for the all new 2017 GSX-R1000...

Pity they didn't have a BMW S1000RR for comparison on the same day, time will tell...

Suzuki's Awesome Mid Range Trait, is very self evident... The New SR-VVT kicks in around 10000 RPM I read somewhere, and is providing all the strong Top End Power...

    Bring it on...

I'm not necessarily faster on the road twisties but damned if the bike doesn't feel like it eats it all up way better than the Z did.
    Missed this post...

Everybody is entitled to there own opinion, I'll leave it at that...

The S1000RR is an Awesome looking bike IMO for sure...

The S1000RR is the current bench 100% and I was on the verge of buying one, until about a year or year and a halve ago, when I first heard about the rumors of the all new GSX-R1000 was coming out, and it was going to be a major overhaul of everything... not just colours / stickers and a few minor tweaks like the last few years...

So this is the reason why I have held off buying, until I can see how good its going to be...

    Its looking promising so far...

That's a super impressive power curve especially compared to the other two, no one will ever use all that on the road and not many could on the track. The traction control will have it's arsehole hanging out trying to stop that wheel spinning.

It's unbelievable how they manage to keep refining these horizon suckers to make more and more power like they do. The most I've ever ridden was a Fireblade on the track years ago with about 145hp and it was bloody fast, add another 50hp and less weight to that .
