    Yeah, Honda have been paying far more generous money than Audi from what I have heard.

    Drove past the same location a few days ago and it was empty.

    I took my car in and had it inspected & it passed this morning

    seems that someone, at some stage must have fitted a newer airbag.


    They took a few pictures of the car & told me that they would send an email to Audi & myself to certify that it was clear.

    The service guy in there told me that only 5 cars had been passed out of over 80 which they had inspected,

    one of the cars had been a 30,000km car which was like new.

    He told me that Audi are having all the cars crushed & that the contractor has to send Audi photographic evidence of the crushing.



    Anyway, mine is all clear now.

    I just did not want to lose the car for nothing & see it go off to be crushed.
    I'm going to use it for a couple of months now while I do some renovations on another car, then I might sell it on.
