Top stuff IMHO.
Love the ZL1, nearly bought one!!...and it will be a great looking racecar.
Nothing can replace "HOLDEN", but at least now with street body profiles to be much closer, and there being a GM car & a Ford, we'll still be able to have Blue V red!
I'm tuned into Bathurst as we speak,......LOVE IT!

I honestly reckon that your series II GTS will be in the long term worth more money
& a much more usable car for you with your family.
One of the things I love & I hate about my Corvette is that it only seats 2 people,
on some occasions it suits me, on others it's a pita.
Well, as you know, I nearly bought a ZL1, but I've never driven one, but there's no doubt that the performance is adequate. Someone, who can drive, said to me that the ZL1 was the fastest thing He'd driven on a racetrack, apart from a V8 Supercar.
Two doors wouldn't worry us, because mostly there's only the two of us.
The value of the GTSR has surprised us, particularly in Virus climate, and it'll be interesting to see where values go,....so yes, I am surprised. ZL1 values as you say are not so good, but tremendous value for money at the moment,...I wonder if their value will go up relative to improved publicity relative to them now being announced for Supercars?!
But yes the GTSR is absolutely a great car, and at this time, whilst I still lust for a Camaro, it probably won't happen!

Haven't GM stated that the Camaro will likely not be renewed in the US and sales are dropping like a stone? Had a quick look on Carsales the other day and you can still pick up a "brand new" HSV-converted Camaro with a build date of April 2019.
Sounds to me like Supercars will, yet again, be running a car that looks like one you can't buy. IMHO, they are very quickly losing relevance in the Australian motorsport market. Bring on the GT3 and GT4 cars!!

You are correct, I don't think there are any definite plans for Camaro after 2023, but that doesn't mean to say there won't be.
But until that time & at least the year after, the Camaro will still have a "hint" of Holden, it'll still be GM V Ford, "Blue" V "Red" etc, and after 2023, well maybe before, there will be a good chance that other manufacturers will join, kia would be my pick.
The other thing is that we Aussies have always preferred "tin top" saloons with a loud V8, and the proposed formula will enable that to continue.
Don't get me wrong, I love GT3/4 cars too, but I don't think they generate the enthusiasm that our V8 tin tops do.
Just, IMHO. Pickles.
