Thumbs up Re: Updated Pics After Lowering, Exhaust & CAI

hey paul. car looks awesome now. do you happen to have the part numbers fo the lovells s/lows. And if you got time or can be stuffed measure the guard height all round and post it. i got mine lowered at walkinashaw (king springs)for $600 and it not as low as yours. how do you find the stiffness of the lovell's. the kings to a week or two to settle with about 500k's a week driving.
congrats again on your hot looking ride

    cheers jake

    Hi Jake

I got it lowered on Monday after getting the exhaust & CAI @ Chevs so its been a week. The ride is very good, its not much firmer than std if any until you hit a reasonable bump, then you know its lowered. It feels so much better to steer now. I took measurements before & after, I measured from the bottom of the rim coz the tape hooks in good, I notice that nearly everyone on here goes from the centre of the rim but I reckon thats to hard to do coz you gotta get the tape in the exact same spot on all 4 wheels.

    The spring part numbers are.
    Front - HFL-114SL
    Rear - HRL-115SL

Measurements Before & After with about 3/4 tank of fuel

    B4 - F/D 655mm - After - 625mm
    B4 - R/D 640mm - After - 610mm
    B4 - F/P 660mm - After - 620mm
    B4 - R/P 645mm - After - 610mm

    Paul

Thanx M8, it actually sits lower than what I was expecting but its all good, everyone that has seen it says it looks great, I freaked a bit when I 1st saw it come off the hoist.

Looks great Paul! Looks very similar height to mine with Kings super super lows and a bit lower than others done with Lovells that I've seen on here.

Would you mind adding your measurements to http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=68171 please? If possible with some centre of hub to wheel arch measurements too please (at least for after).

Great work Paul.. Seems as though it's all coming together and your car now definately resembles your plates

I reckon we organise the next cruise down the great ocean road and perhaps meet at Lorne or something?
