Just curious what month of 2002 the vx commodore was discontinued?

Yep, Late august from memory, my VX was built late august, 21st from memory, not too many more passed then because of the change over from VX to VY

I have seen a genuine VY GTS with a build date of july 02. I'm still puzzled by this as I'm sure VY production began in August 02 and HSV's even later.
It could have been a prototype or a pilot build, but I was under the impression that these could not be registered and had to be crushed. This was a registered car for sale in a car yard.
