Oil Filter Location in VE 6.0L Engine

I'm sort of embarrased to ask this, but I've been looking all through the engine bay of my VE Calais and I'm stuffed if I know where the oil filter is! I haven't been able to get under it yet so perhaps it's under there, but I thought I'd ask first.

Reason I ask is I had the car serviced yesterday and just wanted to see if the filter really has been changed.

You'll have to take the galvanised steel bash plate off though otherwise you won't see it, it's on the passenger side.
