Re: VF Series II IS HERE

I just had to deal with the pre-delivery girl on the phone. I could tell she was reading from a script. I only asked for sports floor mats and a smoke tint bonnet protector.

She couldn't believe that I didn't want the paint protection. Even me stating that my dad was a spray painter panel beater for 30 years wasn't sinking in and it took quite a while for me to get the message through I didn't want it.

    Win!!!... Win!!!... Good on you...

You can put that $1K you saved on the Complete Waste of Time and Money paint protection, toward a useful/worthwhile mod, that actual makes a difference instead of just emptying your wallet...

No bonus for the pre-delivery girl this week, hahaha Boo Hoo....

    lol SASLS1!

She was getting a bit upset at the end. I wasn't rude and I categorically stated that I have contacts in the industry for tint, detailing etc.

Also pushed the alarm sale. Once again my car is in a locked garage with the house alarm. Also I work on a Defence force base. Not much chance of it being stolen from there too.

I was waiting for that call and I am glad it's over!

I guess the "Browse" option only becomes visible when you are a Validated Member as I am only able to see the "From URL" option unfortunately.

My ETA is Sunday 24th April. I am guessing I will be able to pick it up sometime that week as it will take a few days for predelivery, plates, accessories etc.

The 6 week wait will kill me!!!

Already have locknuts and pollen filter sitting here. Beesting aerial on its way. Just have to order a rear rubber boot liner / mat for the back.

    Happy days!

Re: VF Series II IS HERE

This week I had it dropped down a tad to close up the tyre to guard gaps.

Now it just needs to settle a little.

I’ve applied 3 layers of Opti-Seal to the new rims and they are now sitting in the garage patiently waiting for my new low profile jack to arrive so they can be fitted.

I just got an e-mail from the dealership. My wagon is now due for delivery this Thursday!!!

It has been moved forward 5 weeks. Apparently once Holden knew it was sold they moved it forward on the line.

I won't be able to sleep the next few nights!!!

what did they charge to drop that? Im looking at getting a similar height on my series 1. Is it springs only, or spring + shock needed? Do you know how many mm drop front and back?

Doesn't the heater tap come off the motor side? So if the thermostat is closed the heater will still be hot. Shouldn't take long at all for the hot coolant from the motor to go thru the heater circuit....not like the good old days where the heater wouldn't work until the car was at operating temp!

The Heater tap/core IS the bypass for when the thermostat is closed so ALL of the flow will go through there, heads will get hot in seconds after startup

Re: VF Series II IS HERE

Haven't noticed either my VE L76 nor my VZ L98 get to operating temp nor heater work that quickly & I don't warm up my rides for any length of time.
