Talking Pontiac G8 on Warrigul Rd Vic

So I am off to the beach today with the dog & kids & while driving away I catch something out of the corner of my eye & chuck a uueee....... to have a closer look & this is what I saw. Thought you guys might be interested in having a squizz.

PS - That tiny little square that you see on the front guard down the bottom below the indicator is a tiny little badge that says GM. Hardly worth putting it there to be honest as you had to be just about ontop of it to see what it says LOL. The chrome around the door handles looked nice also.

    Cheers

Bad seat shot - says GXP with a groovy little flag type motif

Love the rear "diffuser." Looks quite chunky.

Hmm, interesting re the Brembo brake calipers - maybe they'll become an option to mainstream VE??? I believe the u-beaut brakes on the W427 are of the Brembo variety, so they may be catching on throughout Holden/HSV in the future.

I really like the look of the G8 - especially the rear-end. It is much neater than the SS and seems to be more integrated with the whole body style.

    Cheers,

    Macca

I thought the brake option for the VE's was AP Racing?

I saw a white G8 going down Wellington Rd in Mulgrave on Saturday. Looked pretty good.

Re: Pontiac G8 on Warrigul Rd Vic

The GXP is basically going to be an SS-V with an LS3, HSV seats, Brembos, a slightly restyled front fascia/rear diffuser/wheels and that's about it.

Oh and a hefty price increase.

looks nice some subtle upgrades from the SSV, i reckon the wheels looks really small but otherwise its quite nice.

Holden are very clever with their concept cars, theres no doubt they chucked some VF commo in/on the Coupe'60. I thinking simular front styling and larger rear diffuser

Re: Pontiac G8 on Warrigul Rd Vic

Yeah, thanks for the little preview. The car's going to be sold here in the states as a G8 GXP...supposed to be arriving on dealer lots sometimes soon.

It's really interesting to see the car in its native environment.
