    My blocked x force cats

my harrop 2300 supercharged and cammed ls3 suddenly lost power like 50%???
did a efilive log witch proved it was now geting 15PS1 boost AT 4000 rpm was originally geting 7=10 at 6400 rpm
so not belt slip ?? witch was the original though
pulled the plugs from the drivers side bank
    they all looked like this

pulled the passengers side they look like this

so i tried to removed the drivers side X FORCE CAT this is what i found
the 3" tail pipe wouldn't even come off the cat i had to leaver it of
    this what it looked like

so i then removed the passenger side it looked OK from the tail pipe end but when i turned it around and hade a look at the extractor end (in let end)
    it look like this

i have ordered some 5" short ballistic ones from sure flow so just put this back on till they get here
    XFORCE FREE FLOW CATS

THE UTE RUNS LIKE A DREAM again better than before as i think the cats have been on the way out for awhile by the look of it
so if your power is off have a look at your cats
    especially if they are xforce
thanks to all concerned for all the good advise
    cheers

Well I know I wont be buying xforce cats anytime soon, thanks for the heads up. Shouldnt these be covered under some sort of warranty tho?

Re: My blocked x force cats

Yeah I had the same problem with my POS Xforce cats although when mine went it sounded like I had coke cans bouncing around under my car.

Good times & I don't think I'll be buying anything that has Xforce in it's name next time

STILL a cheap system $800 to start even with a new set of balistic cats $1400 all up
nothing wrong with the pipe work or the sound
i would still get the pipe work but not the cats

NOPE ... no white tips to be seen , but I can tell you when the plod or transport see the red tinge in the tail pipes you could be in a little trouble .

Good to see you finally tracked down the issue. Should sound good once the new cats are fitted if you went the 100 CPI .
