Dam Quick F6 6 Speed Auto Goes 12.94 stock

Hey guys my mates Typhoon ran a 12.94 108mph at the nationals, just with a BMC airfilter and 18" toyo Ra-1's on the back, standard car made 233rwkw on the dyno last week, could of gone quicker, track very slippery.

Thats a massively quick time for a near on stock Falcon..
They are very fast cars out of the box, there was a stock F6 Typhoon run on the Dyno (DD, Shootout) here in Kalgoorlie last week and it cracked 300+ kwatm.. And yep, i'm sure it was stock as it went from the dealer, to the dyno.
Can't remember exact figures, but the bloke who ran it up on the dyno will have more details and possibly even a sheet..

Still, it doesnt beat the sound of an LS1 with a lumpy cam.

I tell you what the F6 Typhoon A6 is def the car to have at the moment IMO.

Mighty impressive times, remember these are 150kg or so heavier than a VZ HSV for instance. Credit were credits due.

they are excellent, but the dynos number theyre pulling (230+) suggest the figure ford has given of 270fwkw is complete bullshit. id love sam to get a donor f6 engine and engine dyno it, im betting it will easily have 300fwkw.

throw on a filter and the same tyres on an auto ls2 and youll get close to the same result, two less gears handicap.

this isnt me saying fords suck, this is me saying ford have underrated their output to make them look better, which it has done spectatularly

always had a sneaking suspicion that they were underrated... my Z puts out 232 rwkw just for comparison.... but i think it is done so they can save face with GT and GTP owners, i suspect they would not be too happy paying more for a car that has less power and less cylinders.

also comming to work each day on King georges road they have a massive FPV add on a bill board. Damn the F6 is a very impressive car. was eyeing one when i bought the Z would have loved to have got one, but low $60k for the F6 vs $47500 for the clubsport.... you do the maths.

Awsome car,awsome times,pitty they just don't sound right.
Once my cam goes in I don't care what times mine runs but I will start my car on a regular basis in my garage grab a deck chair and just sit back and admire.

Its dead stock except for an air filter....if it was tuned i would expect it to go a lot quicker than that.
