G'day to all
We here at Hypa Racing tested our VZ commodore ute at the jamboree in Qld on the weekend. I say tested as we just complete a full rebuild and now run with an all Aussie modified Ls1 block.
On saturday afternoon we had our first run in which we took the Mph world record with a 7.031 @ 207.56 mph. You might ask why the ET is not there and the answer would be that we didn't 60, as i didn't give the A pedal full throtle in first gear ( I know rusty from not racing since Feb).
We came out on our second run later and i was sure to hold the throtle on full this time but when i left the line this time we blow the tyres away and with a big get off ran 7.695 @ 196.34 mph.
After these two run we decide to complete a full check over our newly crowned LS1 MPH WORLD RECORD CAR but we were not able to check all that we wanted to at the track so we decided to pack it up.
Remember all ... THE NEW LS1 MPH WORLD RECORD IS NOW THE PROPERTY OF AUSTRALIA.....
