EOI group buy Yank Converters

Just putting some feelers out to see if anyones after a group buy on some converters from Yank. There regarded as one of the best converter manufactures in the world. If we have 5 guys that want them we will save around some good money on each one if we buy 5 or more. Looking to do something in around 4 weeks. Let me know what converter you are after and i can start negotiating a deal with them. There normal freight is $375US to Aus so for 5 or more this comes back to around $190US each for freight so thats a big saving.

Please only respond if you are seriously wanting to get in on this as we dont need time wasters saying there in and then pulling out.

What ever the cost they ARE worth it, the ss 3600 would be a good alrounder for a na car, although if you go bigger the str rating( I think it is ) of these make them feel like a smaller converter under light throttle so I believe..

excellent choice.

Ps. some times you can get them even cheaper from one of their distributors,like T Byrne, thats what I was hearing a year back.

Now that we have numbers to get a group buy ill be discussing with Yank soon so ill PM all parties with what the pricing is before any orders will be placed.

Also there is a chance we could be hit with GST/customs duties so this maybe an added cost iam not sure. Some items ive had sent to me from the US i havent had and extra dusties but be aware there could be.

Once I have all cost confirmed ill send a PM to you guys so you can fix me up and ill place the order.

Jim I did a group buy last year for a few peeps here, 7 all up. Dave at Yank gave me $50 USD off each converter and the shipping from memory was $200 USD.

ive only had poxy converters they worked and stuff but im not going to do that to this car only question i have is are domminators that much worse or is it that there much dearer
a 4500 that bites at part tip would be sweet haha

The Super Stock 3600 is $625US plus freight and charges (if any)

Also there is a $30 to $40 fee for wire transfer, try using PAY PAL, they accept that, ask Dave if he will let you do it like that. He wont let you pay via CC as he has been stung before with dodgy cards from over seas.

Ill be getting a SS 3200 mate, will get back to you morrow night.

Just an update on the converters.

I have sent Dave Meyers from Yank an email and i am awaiting pricing on the converters and should know something early next week. I will send all that have expressed interest a private message with the confirmed pricing on the converter your after once i get the pricing from Yank. :D

Just another update guys. I know its taking a little time but i have to keep going back to Yank to reconfirm pricing on freight as the amount of converters on the buy keeps changing going from 8 to 7 and finally i hope to 6. Iam just awaiting confirmation again on the freight costs. As per my PM the converter price is still the same but the shipping costs may vary slightly but iam awaiting a response from Yank then i will let you know.

As all of you have confirmed as definates i will get the confirmation on freight then send account details for payment early next week so we can place the order.

Sorry guys but i cant be stuffed anymore trying to sort out this group buy. Everytime its nearly there someone else pulls out thus making me have to go back to Yank to try to re negotiate the buy.

Due to one of the guys that had confirmed not wanting to go ahead now iam not interested in organising this anymore. It's just to much hassle. Iam just going to buy one direct myself and be done with it.

I apologise to the guys that had always stuck firm with there order commitment, but its just frustrating me and with me just trying to help everyone get a bit better price its become a pain in the ass now.
