Depends on how much you want to spend & how much it will cost to sort out.
There was a used 3.46 lsd for sale cheap on your side of town a couple of days ago advertised on faecesbook marketplace.

They often come up cheap second hand.

Money is not an issue sorting it out seeing as he can't drive it until Nov ,i did see a 3.46 on the FB thought that could go well in my SS but i don't have the $$ at the minute ,if i get the urge i might pull the backing plate off it and see for myself now surely i can do that here at home then i will know exactly what needs to be done.

SO the exhaust leak turns out to be a cracked pipe as-well as the one i found ,shop doesn't know if it can be welded until they remove it ,anyway that's up to Kyle to figure out what to do ,the down side is there is only 2 exhaust shops close by i only went into one as i have no idea of any other places around the area .
So it becomes a fix or replace job ,they did say about $1100,for new ones fitted.

That sounds very steep, can buy new extractors for much less & they are generally quite easy to fit.

Depending on brand of extractors & if new cats are required? $1,100 sounds reasonable to me.

Yeah you are right Mick, I misread the post, I thought he was talking that price to repair a crack
but that is okay for supply & fit new extractors & cats.

That's just to do the extractors no cats.
I think i can do better than that, not the sort of thing i can do here at home i have this back issue the decides it wants to screw me over when it feels like it.
The shop i went to doesn't know at this stage if the pipe can be welded, if they can't then we need to replace one.
Might as well buy a new set and keep the others, see if i can get the pipe welded and put them on my SS..

As Ed knows about Advance Headers, I had a brand new set of those 1-7/8 fitted about six months, (I supplied two new 3" cats) Supply installed under $1,200 which I thought was pretty good.

Yeah, Advance Headers are great, made not far from you. (Owner's name is Mike)

Also, have you tried Dave at Exhaust Plus at Salisbury? He is a top bloke as well.

Getting there, funny thing there is 8 different sets of pacemakers that suit a VY had to take it back so they could measure them not sure on replacement cost as yet.
I have been busy buying little bits and pieces to do the small jobs, had to sort out the little battery block that holds the battery in place got that only to find out its got the wrong bloody battery in it i thought it looked strange.
It's a battery for a ford, someone has just chucked one in it and left it at that.
Both tie rods getting replaced tomorrow with a wheel alignment.
Need clutch and brake pedal rubbers, hard to find the actual ss ones so will get something else.
Going to look into the tune and see what it's like, not knowing who did it.
Goes better with the OTR on it.
It's had an amp in it all the wiring is behind the drivers seat, have to trace that back to where it comes from, then a new head unit.
Has a factory one just sitting in the gap d I doesn't work.
    No door speakers either.

Re: Another car added to the caryard

I have determined that there is no spool just a good LSD.
Extractors ordered pacemaker only make them when they have a need to.
So any way that will be a couple of weeks.
