mate no offence, but an online forum really isn't the place to be asking a question such as this. I'm willing to bet that 99% of (conservative) have never seen a veyron on the flesh. This is a holden & Ls1 forum. Ask us something about a holden or GM based vehicle and we'll either know, or be able to find out.

Yes we've pulled the piss out of you something chronic and some comments have perhaps gone a bit too far, but take it as a joke. Not like we're making personal attacks to you or your car, just the extreme unlikeliness of this project thats all.

No matter how much we all rip on ya, don't go blowin ya stack, because it won't achieve anything.

And if nothing else makes you feel better, be greatful your not a user by the name of XR6T Gen (do a search and you'll see you got off easy! haha)

I'm very disappointed by how people have behaved, like children. Now i'm an absolute laughing stock, not very fair.

Naah its not very fair, and i'm glad its not me.
To your credit though, you've accepted the reasoning people have given you, even though in a few cases its been harsh and un-called for.

IMO the biggest problem was the timing - during school holidays. School holidays is when a lot of the wierd and far-out threads appear. If you'd asked the same question mid-term, the responses may have been a bit different.
I've made an arse of myself on here before (and continue to do so ) but its all in good fun. If nothing else, you've discovered that its extremely unlikely that this conversion would happen.

mate i wouldnt worry. once you post another thread (hopefully nothing to do with a french scientist) people will forget about this one ide say. lets face it does sound pretty silly, anyone with the cash would be alot better off just getting an lsx block with a couple of silly size turbos (refer to russo performance section of the forum)

Maybe some people on here felt threatened by the thought of a mind blowing European engineered masterpiece of an engine being put into a..... Commodore.
