Yeah "grandpa ride"! - It was either a V8 Berlina or a white Toyota Aurion... but I forgot my cardigan... and the Toyota Dealership was very cold... so I bought the Berlina instead - Did I make the right choice ?

Thanks mate... yeah really happy with the OTR
The GPS install is about 90%... still needs the Reverse Cam and External GPS antenna installed - Got the extra Hardware today, should be 100% in a week or so.

I thought I was imagining things when I first installed it.
BUT now I'm sure its real...
IMHO there are REAL gains with the OTR and a stock tune. Instant Fuel Usage (via trip computer) indicates a 0.2 to 0.5 l/h fuel saving over stock intake when at idle. Smoother take off - More torque. - Seat of the pants impression only. - Forman recently installed a POD filter and got the same impression.
Unfortunately I have no baseline for comparison... and probably won't be going near a 400m track or dyno, until I have had the LPG LI system and Oztrack tune... Aiming at mid to high 12's with OTR, Tune & LPG LI. - If unsuccessful we will see what a good set of extractors will do!

How's Tassie Mate? A bit colder than the 'Gong!

Yeah gonna be hard to be anonymous now...

As far as showing you the GPS... the price of admission is a carlton cold!

Really loking forward to the tune...and the cruise will be my first drive after the oztrack magic wand

I'm guessing an L98 Berlina with an SS body kit isn't as controversial as the OSV

Anyways looking forward to catching up next weekend.

    Cheers

    Chris

only one carlton cold? even a poor uni student like me can afford that!

i reckon there will be one or two people who will not like the idea of the berlina with ss kit, but i aint one of them - i like it with the berlina/calais taillights
but yes, nowhere near as controversial as my baby

yea, next weekend should be good

i know you have had some strife with the front spoiler scratching, but have you had trouble with the rear? if not, is it possible to lower the back a smidgen? (and ive tested my car's height at uni in the multistorey carpark the last 2 days, and the front just can make it over the concrete blocks in the spaces!)

    cheers

Not sure why you would order a OTR CAI when you live in a place with ambient temperatures less than 10 deg C. How cold do you want the air ???

Just jokes mate... you will be stoked wit the OTR, easy fit, looks great and good results.

What were the specs of your CAM? What sort of improvements did you notice?

    On another note...

We will be doing the tourist thing in Tassie for 2 weeks in Novemeber. What is a Must see? A bit of local knowledge would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Very nice setup. I realy like the fitting of the OTR.

Can you please tell me who did supplied/installed the OTR, where and how much it cost all up.

I am looking to go down this path and would like an idea.

    Cheers

    Hi Phil,

The OTR was supplied by Oztrack (forum sponsor) Australian LS1 and Holden Forums

Highly recommend dealing with Steve at Oztrack, very helpful, knowledgeable and professional.

I fitted the OTR - DIY kit is supplied by oztrack. Pretty straight forward.

Steve sold me this one for $695...

Drop Steve a PM i'm sure he'll help.

    Regards
    Chris

Mate, the OTR install looks great. I have the same OTR but have not cut the original plastic radiator cover like you have to fit on either end.

Where did you get the rubber beading from that you have used on the edges that you have cut??

Looks good and the mods should make it fly! Must puzzle a few people to see an 'SS' in Odyssey!

The OTR is an Orssom one which many of us have. Produced by Orssom who are somehow connected with Sonny. Good unit and good gains! Gave me 15rwkw over a pod filter.
