Gloss black rims suit the car perfectly! looks awesome, and awesome power for no FI! How do you find putting the power down? it being a ute, just curious to how well it makes traction...

In comparrison to the VY model. This thing just squats and launches. The only time that it may step out on you is in second gear when it hitsa around 4,000 rpm. It really pulls hard all the way to around 6800rpm

Managed to wash the old girl today and take a quick video of the idle

    cheers

I have half installed a reversing camera just above the number plate. will try to finish it off in the next week or two. Just can't see out the bloody back of these things at times!!!!!

That's really good to hear! Theres nothing worse than not being able to put the power down in times when you rely on the ability for the car to accelerate quickly (overtaking especially).. It seemed the worked VZ and previous utes seemed to be very tail happy, good to hear the VE throws the power to the road and holds it through! And in your case, it's Maloo beating fast! Awesome ute mate...

    Its sounding nice Eddie.
Its worth mentioning that the car is still fine with the stock stall as well. Its about a big a cam as anyone would want in a L98 though.
Now that its free'd up a bit it would probably make more than that on the dyno as well.

You know you want the hair dryers. But then you would have to get rid off that handy work you done on the intake.LOL

On a different note do you think the rear mufflers you originally had on the car would fit onto my ve.

    Dus

    Steve,
Happy with the ute all round. Can't go past Will and the team at Winmalee Car care. Top notch job. Will be going back for sure.

The car drives like a stocker. It is chalk and cheese from when it was tuned with only 10,000klm on it.

The standard converter works fine and have had no issues with it or the box!

In saying that, I am aiming to do it all again within 12 Months with a Maloo and a Manual.

Hair dryers maybe on a Maloo. I took the VK out for a drive today and you can't beat a GT42R on 10psi at 100klm/hr sidways lol

I have been know to be a handyman and try to always improse things LOL LOL

As for the Mufflers, I am almost tempted to put them back on for a weekend. go for a drive through the M5 tunnel, you'll hear me from your place!!!

Maybe look at a slim line hard lid... like Wonky's. They look much nicer too IMHO... you could even get the lid and tailgate actuators too... they look awesome!

    Just a quick update,
I finished installing so bright lights,
these things work a treat and worth the money.

    Very easy to install.

All main lights are the H.I.D units and all others are replaced with LED's

talk about turning night into day. May end up connecting the fog lamps to the High bean circuit.

    Cheers

    Steve,
    it's too bloody quick!!!!

I was just getting on the freeway at 8pm on friday night and was clocked doing 134Klm/hr. Lucky they were on strike and let me off . To me I was just trying to get in front of a car, didn't even have it buried to the floor thank Christ!!!!
