I believe APS are going to be releasing 4inch tips soon for the E2's, they're a forum sponcer so you could pm them.

There's pics of them in this thread http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=136429

Re: Where to get walkinshaw HSV E2 Exhaust tips.

I was after the Walky tips for my E2 and was told very politely no. Twice! Buy a system and they come free! I am not able to change my system and as far as I know the 3" Walky system doesn't pass noise requirements. The 2.5" system does but it uses the E1 mufflers which like the factory muffler the outlets don't line up neatly with the centre of the opening so you have a choice of changing to a muffler that does or making up some transition pieces. I am in the process of the latter. I have made up the two S bends and have ordered 3.5" tips to suit. I am happy to pm the drawings to anyone wanting to do this for themselves. The tips need to be cut down but it can be done. I will post some pictures when I have finished (which may be a while off given how busy life is at the moment). If you don't have a MIG and grinders you might be able to persuade an exhaust shop to do it but it might be expensive to pay for their time.

Another member has 4" tips (with different mufflers) I tried those but they looked too big to me. Nice but not subtle which is what I want.

Confirmed fact in Brisbane (Brendale) Walkinshaw Performance, I called them inquiring about exhausts not too long ago and they said they use X-Force...

    That makes two confirmed suppliers!
Found an old article that stated HM were their supplier, and that it's not an off the shelf product, but made to their requirements.

The Walkinshaw tips look too big IMO. However, the tips are obviously milled from solid, and to have a one off set made would be hell expensive. Although, if buying a WP exhaust was the only way to get them other than having them custom made, if the WP exhaust is infact a x-force item, I'd opt to have them custom made... From all the x-force systems I've seen/heard/fitted, I couldnt say i've been impressed.

If someone wanted to have them custom made, or a group of interested parties wanted them, I'd be happy to 3D model them up to provide to the manufacturer for CNC milling. Just a thought

HM have manufactured the Walkinshaw Performance Exhaust systems for many years now.

HM have worked together with Walkinshaw Performance to create the best performing exhaust system available in the After Market and will continue to work with Walkinshaw to maintain their place at the top of the Performance Exhaust industry.

HM, fair enough. As Northy said though, last time I was at PT, there were tonnes of Xforce systems. And I remember someone else telling me XForce were the new supplier.

Good luck though. TT wont supply them as they make them to contract, WP wont sell them because you are trying to avoid buying their system but want their look, so that pretty much leaves either copies appearing, or taking them off a used exhaust.
I understand what you are saying Davo. To a point. WP dont mind selling you bonnet scoops, headrests, mats, Carbon Fibre - all the visual stuff. So yeah maybe I do want their look. But what happens if I hate the note their Walkinshaw Exhaust makes (no offence to the manufacturer). I chose my F1 from Mr Muffler because I liked the note. But that means I cant have the tips. I have a sneaking suspicion they would sell them hand over fist if we could buy them. I'd ring Shaun at PT right now.

As HM have said, they certainly continue to manufacture and supply our exhaust and headers.
WP QLD and most other distributors still work on other vehicles that are not Walkinshaw specific jobs, and they sell and fit a range of other products like X force exhausts.

Also Total Tooling have never manufactured WP exhaust tips. They are manufactured in S.A. and offshore now.

Have we got any verification as to whether the WP tips are 3.5" or 4" ID?

Have started modelling them up to have made myself (in batches) as there seems to be a market for them... :P

Are you talking the about E2 or E1 ones mate. I have WP stuf fon my SSV and would love to finish that part off. I have tips similar to the KPM ones at present but would prefer the WP look to go with the rest.

Can do both, E1 WP tips look pretty basic IMO, I've modelled up the E2 ones with a 4" ID but can easily change once I have verification of what size they are... I've got KPM ones on my ute and rather them personally, but these are definately a tough tip!

I would advise before you proceed with the above you have a look to confirm that these products are not covered by design registrations or a patent pending, I would be surprised if these weren't covered, it would be a shame if someone invested alot of time and money into a product that you can not sell.

My understanding is that they are: 3 inch inlet and 4 inch outlet.
You really need 4 inch external as the cutoun in the bar is around 130mm high from memory.
