Been after these babies for some time now... Walkinshaw arn't interested at all in just selling the tips (can't justify handing over 2500 for tips?!?!?!)... shame cause the definately are missing out on sales is guess .. if anyone has got any similar designs that are forsale please post...

Something I've been working on... Designed to be CNC milled from aluminium, with twin 76.5mm inlets to slip over 3" pipes, as to be made from ally and cant weld, will have flush finishing grub screws for securing, however should be a tight fit over pipes.

    PM Me for details....

I agree and see my last post. No problems in selling all the other 'dress up' stuff so why not these.

Also Total Tooling have never manufactured WP exhaust tips. They are manufactured in S.A. and offshore now.

Thanks for clarifying the various aspects of this subject wp01 and HM.

    Pretty common scenario.
When buying (for example) their bonnet scoop they don't link it with a compulsary bonnet and so forth, so you already know what you can and can't buy.
WP (and others) know that a fair percentage of the market are happy to pay half the price for some exhaust, then try to fit these tips on it, making it look like it's a WP exhaust to the casual observer. They spent the money developing them, so if you want them, WP will throw in a "free" exhaust with your 2K plus tips...

so, it's unacceptable to think you could buy these to complete the WP look...

I'm promoting their business and their product by putting them on. Is it not flattery for someone to want them so bad. putting them on my exhaust which had just as much development and cost as much as the WP one.

.....and the 2500 for tips and free exhaust.... Joke is getting old

Ok I rang Walkinshaw here in Adelaide and they tell me I can purchase both the rear mufflers only for $720.00 or $780 fitted and these have the tips on them. I have a 07 HSV Senator and want to have these tips.
Any body have these mufflers on and are their any gains ?

With the E1 series, only one hole emmits smoke. Half of the tip will always look brand new. Don't know if this applies with the new E2 catback exhaust systems from WP.

Thats so true I have the WP cat back on my ls3 Maloo and in regard to the billet tips one side of the tip is clean and the other side of the tip is black.
Can you buy similar tips from the Billet factory in the US
