Your car looks tops, you definantly should be proud to drive it
    thanks mate
I was going to use a ssv head unit to but ended up going this way just to be different, I was going to use Alpine but they look like crap so ended up getting a pioneer just because it looks better.
Sounds like you have your new system under control but how are you adding amps to the ssv head unit? I had the Rockford fosgate 3sixty in my car and it worked well.

At the moment I have a Scoshe unit that has a converter in it, but I am on the hunt for a 3sixty, are you selling yours or keeping the unit aswell? Pioneer are a good looking unit and I think are a little clearer then the other screens, from what I've seen.

So that would have been yours that I missed out on by $2.50 on eBay then, I wasn't happy I tell you

I hate waiting for things to arrive in the mail and that, it's the worst part about buying things online..

What speakers are you using in your car? Also are you amping both front and rear speakers?

That sucks, If I'd known i would have let you have it for the starting bid.
I've got Alpine typeR splits in the front and typeR 2ways in the back runing off a Alpine V power 100X4 amp, sounds ok.

What do you think of the Aline R's in the fronts? I heard they handle a decent amount of power but from what I can see it's because they are a little low on efficiency? But they are a decent sounding speaker though for the price range I guess

The Alpine R's go ok, Though I think your right about them being abit low on efficiency.I would have liked to go more high end but as my wife wanted her stereo in our mazda done to, it cost me x2 for every thing so that killed my budget. But happy wife happy life.

I'll keep that in mind, I'm still on the lookout for now so I'll have a listen to a few more, Rockford Fosgate seem to have a pretty good line up in there range.

Where abouts did you get the custom sub box made from? It looks like a top job, how does it sound in a box like that?

No one would do the box how i wanted so I did it myself out of mfd and fiberglass, it sounds good for a sealed box.
I want to put a 2nd one on the other side but I'll have to move the battery and I have no idea were to put it.

Don't know how i've missed this thread, but you've done a fantastic job on this whole car mate. Love the interior ...reminds me a bit of my E1 urban senator interior, not over done at all. ! The best SS i've ever seen. Credit to you. Look forward to seeing it progress even further.

Its looking good, in the 3rd pic where is the controls? I can't see them lol, if you get that little flap it will finish it off nicely I think

I'm wondering if your feeling handy to make another custom box what's it roughly worth in materials though? Also does it sound as good as it did with the original alpine box?
