Correct mate, freshly back from HPC coating by JET-HOT
The manifolds are schd. 40 steam pipe so combined with the HPC coating should keep the temps down
I'm going with a pair of Garrett GT3076s with custom 1.06A/R rear housings cast to suit the T25 flanges as pictured. They're are also ball bearing, water and oil cooled. The reason for this is I should be able to get away with running my current cam 23x/23x 113lsa
I already have a complete fuel system comprising of an ASE surge tank, bosch external 044 pump, turbosmart fuel pressure regulator, siemens deka 60lbs injectors and pro-flow fuel rails
Extra goodies so far are just a turbosmart eboost 'street' boost controller
Haven't decided on BOVs yet, if any

Im aiming for high 300s to low 400s on 10psi, is the cam leaving power on the table? Who knows, but I never do things by halves
I have done a fair bit of research and it seems that my cam specs are suited to 'twin' turbo applications given the proper matching of the turbos, hence the 1.06A/R rear housings
The TT kit has been on the cards for a while, alot of people ask me why I went cam, then H/C and not straight to FI saving some $$$ But to be honest, I find it more rewarding to upgrade in stages and see the car evolve over time
I did look at the 'single' kits on the market and whilst cheap, didnt convince me they were the way to go mainly due to the 'cut and shut' nature of them that you don't read alot about on the forums

Millsy, as I've said before, this car is waaaayyyyy toooo gooood for you.
Your heading in the right direction with the turbos, no doubt in my mind. They will have the flow lb's min even with the camshaft. Not that its overly big anyway. It will have good engine VE, take heaps of timing and make good power.
I don't see how your cam is suitable for turbos.
At lower RPM's all it will be doing is bleeding off boost.
I reckon you will make the same power with a stock cam, and possibly stock heads too.

Boost is a measure of resistance UT.. it will bleed off air or flow. If the turbos can provide enough airflow it won't be that big of a drama.
After all its still a 5.7L cammed V8 underneath it.. having turbos is only going to increase the power.
It will make more torque earlier than a stock cam. If you want read my thread on turbo sizing and so forth it will give you more of an idea.

As previously mentioned I've decided to go with the GT3076R's but with GT2860RS 0.60A/R Compressor covers and custom cast AVO T25/T28 1.00A/R Turbine housings which will be Internally Wastegated (8psi) and black HPC coated to match the manifolds. To my knowledge the delay is with AVO's supply of these custom Turbine housings.
As the manifolds themselves are a log-style, from what I can understand they cause different exhaust pulsing/scavenging effects compared to extractors in N/A applications. So this combined with the 1.00A/R Turbine housings, should work well even though my camshaft is of N/A specs. The cylinder heads will really shine now and hopefully reduce alot of the prone 'low rpm detontation' of high comp, N/A cammed turbo applications.
Boost will be capped at 10psi as my compression ratio is around the 10.6:1 mark, but I do have ARP rod bolts already fitted. My goal is 380 - 400rwkw. The camshaft has from memory 6* of overlap and was my major concern regarding 'blow-by' but now that im confident it will work with the rest of the package the only downside it has now are the 3.91 gears. The gears I need for driveability on the street due to the camshaft but may not be so freindly coming onto boost or at the track.

As long as you don't get too much pressure before the turbine Millsy, having a bit of overlap aint going to kill your combo.. I like the 1.00 rears, thats a good idea. You have about 1000hp worth of compressor air flow to play with, so even if you bleed a little off it won't be the end of the world.
Its a tops car mate, adding the turbos is just making it better.![]()
